“Hyoyeonie.”

“Mmm, what’s the matter?”

“I ran out of gummy bears.”

Hyoyeon sighed a smile as she watched her girlfriend was peeking inside the now empty gummy bear packet. When they turned their heads to look at her, she shrugged. “So what do you want me to do about it?”

“Well, as my best girlfriend in the whole wide Taengniverse, take me to the nearest mini market so we can buy them.” Taeyeon said, flashing a cute smile at the end of her sentence.

“And why would I do such a thing even if you’re my best girlfriend in the whole wide Hyoniverse, hmm?”

Taeyeon’s eyes sparked with ferocity yet it didn’t seem to be affecting Hyoyeon. Well, not anymore since the latter was used to it. “Hyoyeonie!”

“Yes, my darling?”

“I—I want gummy bears!” It was pretty amusing to Hyoyeon about how her girlfriend instantly switched their scowl expression into a soft, embarrassed one. She stretched her arm across the coffee table to give Taeyeon’s cheek a little pinch, earning a whine from them. “Yah, Hyoyeonie!”

Hyoyeon stood up on her feet and offered her hand to Taeyeon who was still sitting on the floor. “Let’s go.”

“Mmm, aren’t we going to get dressed first?”

“For what? We don’t need to.”

“B—But I’m braless!”

“What’s wrong with that?” Hyoyeon grinned.

Taeyeon rolled her eyes. “Wow. And I thought I was the ert one in the relationship.” She then proceeded to their bedroom, tugging Hyoyeon along with her; winning their silly argument without Hyoyeon fighting back.

“An hour to midnight. Why?”

“Wow so we went out just to buy your ever so precious gummy bears, huh?”

Taeyeon got inside the car with Hyoyeon and quickly pulled the packets she bought into her embrace. “It’s all thanks to your dedication, babe!”

Hyoyeon sighed deeply. “The things I do for you.” She let Taeyeon to mess with her cheek as she focused on the road once she stepped on the gas.
