Seungho : (waiting in the car)

Jiyeon : annyeong! (opens the car door and comes in)

Seungho : wahhh who’s this pretty girl? How come she gets into my car? (joking around)

Jiyeon : tssk! Mweoya~ (can’t stop smiling)

Seungho : (he, too, can’t stop smiling) how can you look so pretty by just wearing t-shirt and jeans, Jiyeon ah?

Jiyeon : aishhh stop it, you make me shy. Hihi!

Seungho : (laughs) arasseo, arasseo. So where are we going, uri Jiyeonnie?

Jiyeon : um… let’s watch a movie first, agree?

Seungho : movie? (frowning)

Jiyeon : uh! Wae? Shirheo?

Seungho : (smiles sweetly) ani… chulbal!~ (start driving)

Arrived…

Seungho : kaja! (excitedly want to get out from the car)

Jiyeon : Seungho ah, chamkan!(wait!)

Jiyeon : let’s not watch movie at this cinema. (serious)

Seungho : (frowning) wae?

Jiyeon : um… I want to watch it at COEX Mall cinema.

Seungho : uh? Why? The movies here and there are all same you know. (confused)

Jiyeon : I know… it’s just… (doesn’t continue her words, just pouting, looking away from Seungho)

Seungho : (laughs a little when looking at Jiyeon’s behaviour) aigoo~ arasseo, arasseo~ we’ll go there, ok…

Jiyeon : (smiling widely) hihi! Gomawo~

Seungho : (start driving again) aishhh this is confusing me. Why must you make me follow your choice when today is my birthday? (glancing at Jiyeon with smile)

Jiyeon : didn’t you say that I can plan fully for today’s date?

Seungho : wow, did I just hear you yourself consider this as a date?

Jiyeon : y-ye?

Seungho : only couples are going out for a date, you know. So now are we a couple? (glancing to see Jiyeon’s expression, acting serious)

Jiyeon : w-well… th-that…

Seungho : have you fallen for me? Already? Wow that’s so fast! (teasing)

Jiyeon : yah! Who said so?

Seungho : tssk! Until when you want to deny it, Jiyeon ah?~

In front of the cinema of COEX Mall…

Seungho : oh, there are so many people today. I’ll buy the ticket, you go and buy popcorn, okay?

Jiyeon : ani. Let me buy the ticket, you buy the popcorn.

Seungho : u-uh? Wae?

Jiyeon : (just smirk and left)

Seungho : < why suddenly she acts weird? Doesn’t she usually always agree with everything? > (then go and buy popcorn)

Jiyeon : (buying tickets) two tickets please. But I’ll take two separate seats, seat D8 and D11.

Ticket girl : ne~ here are tickets. (giving the tickets) Enjoy your movie, Miss. (smile friendly)

Jiyeon : ne kamsahamnida. (walk away) hihi! (looking at tickets while giggling)

Seungho : (seeing Jiyeon’s action, then frowning. Walking towards Jiyeon while holding a popcorn and two drinks) yah, what’s so funny about the tickets?

Jiyeon : y-ye? (surprised) um, nothing! (just smiling)

Seungho : aishhh weird girl. Let’s go in then. The movie is going to start soon. (starts walking)

Jiyeon : ok! (walking beside Seungho, still smiling excitedly)

Inside the cinema…

Seungho : Jiyeon ah, what are our seats number? (whispering)

Jiyeon : yours is D11. (also whispering)

Seungho : ah, arasseo. (after found the seat, he sits)

Jiyeon : (sitting on the seat which two seats away from Seungho’s)

Seungho : (confused) yah, Jiyeon ah. Why are you sitting there? (talks with low voice, doesn’t want to interrupt other people in that cinema)

Jiyeon : this is my seat. See! (show off the tickets)

Seungho : ye??? What did you buy two seats that are far from one another?

Jiyeon : well…

At that moment, a couple is coming and sitting in the middle between Seungho’s and Jiyeon’s seats.

Jiyeon : < perfect! >

Seungho : Jiyeon ah…

And the movie is starting…

Jiyeon : (looking at Seungho, puts her index finger on her lips as a sign to ask him to stay quiet. Then she smiles to him)

Seungho : aishhh! < why is she doing this? > (becomes more confuse)

During watching the movie, Seungho couldn’t focus. He keeps thinking the reason of Jiyeon’s actions today. Sometimes he glances at Jiyeon who only focus watching the movie, she smiles and laughs excitedly, totally enjoying it.

After the movie ended… While walking…

Jiyeon : wahhh I totally love that movie. It was SOOOO fun! Right? (totally excited)

Seungho : molla~(I dunno~) (acting cold)

Jiyeon : yah, how come you don’t know? Didn’t you watch it as well just now?

Seungho : I didn’t… (then he walks faster, to stay away from Jiyeon)

Jiyeon : yah, eodiga??(where are you going??) katchi kaja~(let’s walk together~) (while trying to follow him closely)

Seungho : (no respond, he keeps walking quickly)

Jiyeon : (gasping) Seungho ah, walk slower, I’m tired already.

Seungho : then don’t follow me.

Jiyeon : wait! (she managed to grab his arm, make him stop) Let’s go to eat, I’m hungry~ (showing her aegyo while clinging on his arm)

Seungho : < aisshh! How can I refuse this too-cute girl? > at where? (still acting cold)

Jiyeon : just follow me. (giving her cute smile, letting go Seungho’s arm and walking)

Seungho : (just follow from behind)

When they reached at a roadside, Jiyeon stops.

Seungho : why are you stopping? There’s no car, just cross the road.

Jiyeon : (just staring at Seungho without saying anything)

*Jiyeon’s flashback*

They are walking, heading to a restaurant. Jiyeon is walking with bowed head. Not focusing.

SUDDENLY,

“JIYEON-SSI!!!”

Jiyeon’s left hand is pulled. She startled. And now two pairs of eyes meet. With no blink. Too close with one another. They are Seungho’s and Jiyeon’s. They stay facing each other for a few seconds, with Jiyeon’s left hand be held by Seungho’s right hand while Seungho’s left hand is on Jiyeon’s right arm.

Seungho is slowly releasing Jiyeon’s hands.

Seungho : how come you cross the road with bowed head? Be careful. (slowly talk to Jiyeon)

Jiyeon : thanks. (short and simple answer. Not looking at Seungho’s face)

Seungho : (continue walking)

*end of Jiyeon’s flashback*

Seungho : (doesn’t understand what Jiyeon’s staring means) palli, you said you’re hungry just now. (crossing the road by himself, leaving Jiyeon)

Jiyeon : tssk! Mweoya~ am I the one who lost memory or him?!~ cheongmal! (talking to herself then crossing the road)

At the restaurant...

During eating, Seungho doesn’t talk anything to Jiyeon. He acts so serious. While Jiyeon just keeps quiet when seeing his coldness. Suddenly there’s only awkwardness between them.

After both of them done eating, Seungho is the one who breaks the silence.

Seungho : (still acting cold) if you have done eating, let’s go back home.

Jiyeon : y-ye? Already?

Seungho : wae? Don’t you actually don’t want to go out with me? Isn’t it better for you to go home then?

Jiyeon : what do you mean? (confused)

Seungho : you should know yourself what I mean. (looks away)

Jiyeon : (no answer, just bowing her head)

Seungho : forget it. Let me send you home now. (standing)

Jiyeon : Seungho ah, why suddenly you act so cold? (still sitting)

Seungho : wh-what did you say? Me? Tcch!~ you are the one who started that, don’t you realise it?

Jiyeon : wh-what did I-I do? (speaks with low voice)

Seungho : (sighs heavily while sitting back) arasseo. I’ll ask you clearly now. Why did you buy the tickets for two separated seats?

Jiyeon : y-ye? Were you upset about that?

Seungho : of course! It annoyed me so much. I even can’t watch that movie thinking about it.

Jiyeon : mianhae~ (bows her head, feel guilty)

Seungho : then why did you do so?

Jiyeon : well. I did that because…

*Jiyeon’s flashback*

Inside the cinema, Yonghwa and Seohyun sit next to each other. Seungho is beside Yonghwa while Jiyeon is beside Seohyun.

Jiyeon : because… < I want to go back to the day when we first go out together. Don’t you notice it? >

Seungho : that’s why I thought you actually don’t want to go out with me. See, even now you can’t answer my question, then I guess what I thought is right. Forget it Jiyeon ah. Let’s just go home. I don’t want to feel this way on my birthday. (trying to stand up again, really not in his good mood)

Jiyeon : (but at that moment, Jiyeon puts a small box tied with ribbon on the table. Without saying anything)

Seungho : (stopped his action, sits again) wh-what is this?

Jiyeon : your birthday present. (just give a short answer, being serious)

Seungho : (glancing at Jiyeon for few seconds, then taking the box)

Jiyeon : I thought I want to give you right before we go home. As now we already are going…

Seungho : (speechless, suddenly feels guilty) Jiyeon ah, can I open it now? (starts smiling, doesn’t want Jiyeon to feel sad)

Jiyeon : up to you. It’s yours anyway. (still act serious)

Seungho : I’ll open now. (opening the box)

Jiyeon : (just looking at Seungho)

Seungho : Ji-Jiyeon ah!~ (too surprised, he’s frozen)

Jiyeon : (now starts smiling) do you like it?

Seungho : (without he himself realise, his eyes become teary. He looks deeply into Jiyeon’s eyes) Park Jiyeon… this is …

CHALMOTHAESSEO!!! keke!~ it has been loooong time since I update right? yes it seems like I already forgot this fic. but actually many things happened that I didnt get the chance to update often. My 2nd semester of university is just starting so many things need to be settled. n I know this is not a great update that I should comeback with BUT AT LEAST I update so I hope u guys can still enjoy it. For the next chapters, I myself hope that I can spend my time updating it a.s.a.p.
