FIFTY SIX

STILL IN THE SK CUPCAKES..

All of them were seated inside the shop and served with all the variety of cupcakes they have.

“What do you think Dad?” Sooyoung asked cause she noticed that her father’s eyes keep wondering around since they came.

“Good choice for a business” Mr. Choi sincerely said

“Thanks dad and I’ll take that as a compliment coming from the great CEO of the Choi Company” Sooyoung boast.

Everyone laughed.

“Please have some cupcakes.. they are freshly baked by Hyoyeon” Seohyun uttered and she smiled charmingly at her girlfriend.

Soojin take the chocolate almond cupcake and took a bite on it. “Wow~ ish dewecious” Soojin mumbled.

“Soojin Unnie don’ t talk when your mouth is full” Sooyoung saud

“I can’t welp wit ish dewecious” Soojin muttered as she took another bite from the cupcake.

Mr. Choi take the apple cinamon flavor cupcake and took a bite on it. “Hmm.. dewecius” Mr. Choi said

Jase took a bite on the cheese cake. “I agree with you two” Jase complimented and swallowed the remaining cupcake

“By the way I want you guys to meet my crew they are the best” Sooyoung boastfully said

Mr. Choi nod and smiled. Soojin listened while eating some cupcakes. “The two laduies in the counter are Abigail and Alyssa. The one who is taking the orders is Abigail and on the cash register is Alyssa.” Sooyoung muttered

Mr. Choi gave her most charming smile to the lovely ladies in the counter.

Alyssa and Abigail smiled sweetly and waved there hand.

“The one who delivered the orders to the customers table are Jokey Mitzi and Sara. Jokey is the short haired one, Mitzi is the skinny one and Sara is the long haired one” Sooyoung exclaimed.

Jokey and Sara bowed to show respect to their Boss Soo’s family. Soojin smiled while Mr. Choi nod.

“And not but not the least Hana..” Sooyoung scan the shop but she can’t find Hana.

“Where is Hana?” Soojin asked

“I don’t know” Sooyoung looked at Hyoyeon.

“I think she’s in the storage room I asked her to get some flour and some vanila” Hyoyeon uttered

“Ohh~” Sooyoung mouthed.

“Well, we can meet her some other time but for now we need to visit Mom as a family” Mr. Choi said

“Of course Dad” Sooyoung mumbld and look at the HyoSeo couple

“We’ll take care of the shop” Seohyun in an assuring tone

“Thanks~” Sooyoung smiled

“Let’s go” Jase uttered

Mr. Choi nodded “Bye girls, See you later”

HyoSeo couple and the SK crew bowed.

Jase and the Chois went out of the shop but Soojin run back. Seohyun was wiping the icing on Hyoyeon’s lip when Soojin was taking two cupcakes left on the table.

“Why don’t you kiss her instead on wiping it with your hands” Soojin blurted out from the behind that startled Seohyun that cause her to hug Hyoyeon.

“Cute~” Soojin giggled.

“Unnie~” Seohyun whined and burried her face on Hyoyeon’s chest.

“What? I just went back to grab this delicious cupcakes” Soojin innocently said

“Unnie! Hurry up or were goona leave you” Sooyoung muttered seriously standing at the door.

“I’m comming..Geez!” Soojin fired back “I’ll see you lovely couple later” Soojin tease

Hyoyeon chuckled “See you later Unnie”

“Ohh~ by the way Seohyun if your thinking how do I know just because the way to stared at Hyoyeon” Soojin whispered to Seohyun’s ear and run outside the shop

OUTSIDE THE SK CUPCAKES.

“What took you so long just to get those cupcakes?” Sooyoung in a mad tone.

“Girls, get in the car you could talk about it on our way” Mr. Choi said, the two girls followed their father’s order.

INSIDE THE CAR..

“Now, the answer to my question?” Sooyoung in a sarcastic tone

“Don’t be so sarcastic. I was just teasing the couple” Soojin mumbled

“Couple? Who?” Mr. Choi asked curiously

“Dad don’t tell me that you didn’t noticed..” Soojin flatly said

“Noticed what?” Mr. Choi asked again

“Ohh~ god.” Soojin face palmed and shakes her head.

Mr. Choi look at Sooyoung who is seating beside him but Sooyoung give him a DONT-LOOK-AT-ME-LOOK. Then Mr. Choi seek the help of his only son Jase who is driving the car but Jase give him an innocent look.

“Can somebody tell me what should I be noticing about?” Mr. Choi said in frustration.

“Calm down Dad it’s just about Seohyun and Hyoyeon” Jase said as his eyes are fied on the road.

“What about them?” Mr. Choi asked curiously.

Jase was about to say something but she was cut by Soojin.

“Tell me did you noticed something about the two?” Soojin said.

“Well, they became beautiful ladies since the last time I saw them” Mr. Choi innocently said

“And?”

“And what?”

“Don’t tell me that’s the only thing that you’ve noticed between them?”

“Well Yeah~” Mr. Choi laughed out loud.

Sooyoung rolled her yes, Soojin jaw dropped and Jase let a sighed.

“What? What did I say?” Mr. Choi asked and he looked at his children.

“Nothing dad just never mind” Soojin annoyingly said

“Okay~” Mr. Choi shrugged his shoulder.

Sooyoung shakes her head. Same old Mr. Choi, Sooyoung thought.

“Those two is a really lovely couple.” Mr. Choi suddenly blurted out.

Sooyoung and Soohin looked at there father annoyingly while Jase look at Mr. Choi at the car mirror.

He knew all along. Sooyoung thought

He’ll never change. Jase thought.

He’s being innocent again. Soojin thought.

“Why are you guys looking at me like that?” Mr. Choi asked innocently.

Soojin looked away, Sooyung let a heavy sighed ad looked at the people on the street. Jase chuckled but Soojin give him a death glare and he automatically stop.

“Jase, what’s really going on here?” Mr. Choi asked

Jase looking at the car mirror to see Mr. Choi “Dad in the first place Soojin..” Jase didn’t finish his sentence because Soojin is giving him a death glare.

“Jase let him be. That’s his punishment” Soojin in a serious tone.

Jase keep his mouth shut.

Shes scarry when she’s mad but yet so beautiful. Jase thought

Wow~ Soojin is really annoyed. Sooyoung thought.

“Wae? Punishment of what?” Mr. Choi raise an eyebrow.

Soojin just give him an annoyed look.

Mr. Choin just stop asking he didn’t want Soojin to get mad at him.

A few minutes later they arrived at the cemetery. The four of them went out from the car and went to the grave of there Mom/ Wife.

Soojin took the old boquet of flowers and replace it with a fresh one that they brought. Jase,Soojin and Sooyoung bowed to pay respect to their Mom.

“How are you Mom? See, all four of as are here” Soojin’s voice started to crack and then Mr. Choi comforted his older daughter.

“Don’t worry about us dear were all fine” Mr. Choi steadly said

“I miss MOm” Soojin mumbled

“We all miss Mom, Soojin”Jase uttered and patted Soojin’s back.

All of them keep in silence and say there prayers for their beloved Mother/ Wife.

After a couple of minutes Sooyoung approaches her mother’s grave and was were watched by her father , older sister and big brother. Then Sooyoung took a hankerchief from her pocked and wipe the dust on her mother’s grave.

“I’ll see you soon Mom.” Sooyoung softly mumbled on her mother’s grave at the same time Soojin approaches her and hear what she said.

“You can’t be serious Sooyoung!” Soojin raises her voice that startled Mr. Choi and Jase.

“Soojin, Sooyoung what’s the matter?” Mr. Choi asked worriedly and saw Soojin furiously looking at the younger choi.

Sooyoung on the other hand was humbly look at her sister.

“Don’t look at me like that Sooyoung” Soojin snap her.

“Unnie~” Sooyoung mumbled.

“I knew what I hear. I won’t let you” Soojin in a serius tone

“What are you two bickering about?” Mr. Choi look at his two daughters.

Soojin look at her father with a worried face then she faced back Sooyoung.

“Unnie please..” Sooyoung softly said

“Why are you doing this to us? You still have the chance to live and a chance to have a better life. You don’t want to be with us anymore?! Huh? Choi Sooyoung?!” Soojin exlcaimed and tears started to flow from her eyes.

Sooyoung tried to hug her older sister but Soojin pushed her and run awy from them.

“Soojin!, Unnie!” Jase, Mr. Choi and Sooyoug said at the same time.

“I’ll go get her.” Jase mutterd and run after Soojin but she was blocked by Sooyoung.

“It’s all my fault, I should be the one to get her. Please Oppa just let me do it.” Sooyoung sincerely said.

Jase smiled at ther. “Go get your sister we will wait here” Jase uttered and patted Sooyoung’s cheek.

“Dad?” Sooyoung looked at Mr. Choi to get an approval.

Mr. Choi nod and smiled . “Go” He mouthed

“Thanks~” Sooyoung smiled and run after her sister.

“Is it alright that she’s running like that?” Mr. Choi asked

“No~ but what can we do? Even me as her doctor she never listened” Jase flatly said

“What’s her condition now?”

“Base on her recent test results she’s not doing well. The medicine is keeping her body functionable as possible but I’m afraid that medicine couldn’t cope with her body needs. God forbid but if she can’t have the operation as soon as possible I really don’t know do with her anymore” Jase exclaimed.

“What are the chances for her to live?” Mr. Choi’s voice started to crack and also tried to meantain his composure.

“To date her chances is 60%” Jase cautiously said.

Mr. Choi face his wife’s grave “Sohee, please enlightd our dear Sooyoung’s mind” and a strong wind blow.

“Sohee~, Mom~” Mr. Choi and Jase said in unision.

Sooyoung run as fast as she could to catch up with her sister. Soojin slowdown to catch up with her breath Sooyoung took this chance to catch up with her sister. They were inches away Sooyoung grab Sooyoung’s arm that cause Soojin to turn around and Sooyoung immediately hug her sister. On the other hand Jessica who is visiting her parents and younger sisters’s grave saw Sooyoung hugging another woman and she felt and an odd pain on her chest.
