Conference room...
Sooyoung carefully read the papers and studied it quietly.
“Miss Choi shall we start?” President Jung asked
“Yes, you may” Sooyoung said
Tiffant started to talk about the income, expenses, assets and liabilities of the company. Sooyoung attentively listen to Tiffany while Yoona on the other hand is writing down some points.
“Your company has a lot of assets and thats good” Sooyoung complimented
“Thank you Miss Choi” Tiffany mumbled
“Very well then is there something you want to show me?” Sooyoung asked
“Yes there is, Miss Jung here will be the one will present it to you” Tiffany bluntly said
Jessica’s eyes went wide and her heart were pounding so fast. Sooyoung on the other hand was watching Jessica who froze in her seat, Sooyoung looked away so that Jessica wouldn’t be intimidated by her.
“Miss Jung kindly present your Marketing report and strategies” Sooyoung politely said
Jessi ca took a deep breath before she stands up then she start her laptop then connected it to the DLP and pointed it to the white screen.
“Break a leg. Make her fall for you” Tiffany softly said
Jessica glared at her before she walks to the center aisle.
“Make her fall for her?” President Jung skeptically asked
“Explain later Granpa” Tiffany winked at her Grandpa
President Jung was confused then he looked back to Jessica who is standing infront og them. Sooyoung look at Jessica contenly that cause the ice princess heart to pound so fast. Jessica puts her hand to her chest t calm herself down.
“Calm down Jessica its just the Skinny Giraffe” Jessica mumbled
“Did you say something Miss Jung?” Sooyoung asked
Jessica shakes her head saying NO for an answer.
“Very well then please proceed to your presentation” Sooyoung sternly said
Jessica opens but no words came out she tried to speak but no sound came out.
“What’s with Jessica?” President Jung uttered seriously
“Stage fright?” Tiffany flatly said and gleamed at her Grandpa
“What?!” President Jung said but not loud enough for Sooyoung could hear.
Sooyoung stared at Jessica who’s face is starting to get red because of embarrassment. Sooyoung sense that Jessica needs time to bring back her composure so she act fast.
“President Jung I would like to ask for a break.. My tummy is calling for food if you don’t mind” Sooyoung muttered
President Jung and Jeti was taken a back by Sooyoung’s statement.
“Of course Miss Choi” President Jung mumbled
“Okay~ 20 minutes break people” Tiffany uttered
Sooyoung and Yoona take their leave. Leaving President Jung and Jeti on the conference room.
“Jessica, what happened?” Tiffany asked curiously
“I don’t know I tried to speak up but no words came out. I’m sorry Grandpa” Jessica voice cracked
President Jung let a heavy sighed and he looked Jessica pitifully and Tiffany tried to comfort her cousin. “Take a deep breath. Calm yourself and your mind” Tiffany softly mumbled
“Do you think she noticed it?” Jessica blurted out and look Tiffany innocently
Tiffany looked at her Granpa. President Jung contently looked at her two Granddaugther. Tiffany looked back to Jessica who is waiting for answer.
“Yes she noticed it. Thats why she called for a break to fixed yourself” Tiffany softly mumbled
Jessica’s tears started to fall.
“Please Sica don’t cry” Tiffany said and trying to comfort her cousin
“I’m sorry I screwed things up” Jessica burst into tears
“You didn’t screwed things up Sweetie. She is giving us a chance” It’s President Jung’s chance to speak up
Jessica looked up and wipped her tears away
“Now fix yourself. Were here to back you up” Tiffany winked at her.
“Thanks Tiff” Jessica hugged her cousin. Tiffant was suprised by the sudden hug but she hugged her cousin back
“Now go and looked beautiful” Tiffany uttered
“I will, thanks” Jessica immediately leave the conference room with her pouch and run to the powder room.
“You still have 10 minutes” Tiffany yelled
On the other hand.
“Miss Choi” Yoona uttered
“If your asking why did I that.. I don’t know Yoona..” Sooyoung mumbled
“That’s not my question Miss Choi” Yoona let a chuckled but though she is wondering why Sooyoung did that.
“What is it then?” Sooyoung asked and look at Yoona
“I thought you are hungry.. then what are we doing here in the lounge?” Yoona innocently asked
“Ohh~” Sooyoung scratch her back head and smiled sheepishly
Yoona smiled. “Can I get you some coffee Miss Choi?” Yoona asked
“Yeah sure thing” Sooyoung uttered.
Yoona was about to leave when Sooyoung called her back “Yoona!”
Yoona turned back and looked Sooyoung sweetly “Yes, Miss Choi?”
“Call me Sooyoung. I feel old when you call me Miss Choi” Sooyoung seriously said
“Yes Sooyoung” Yoona giggled “Anything else Sooyoung?”
“Bring my coffee to the conference room and Thank you” Sooyoung flashed her most charming smile that cause Yoona to blushed.
AT THE POWDER ROOM...
Jessica was fixing herself putting some make-up to cover her puffy eyes due to crying. She was facing the mirror when she saw a skinny tall figure entered the room. Jessica dropped her make-up on the floor but thanks to the skinny figured she catches it on time before it smashed it on the floor.
“Why are you not being you today? Where is the fierce blonde who fought with me back in the store?” Sooyoung exclaimed
“What are you talking about?” Jessica snatched her make-up from Sooyoung’s hand.
“A simple thank you will do” Sooyoung uttered and stand next to Jessica
“What are you doing here?” Jessica sternly said
“This is a ladies room and I’m a lady that’s why I’m here” Sooyoung sarcastically said
Jessica rolled her eyes. Sooyoung smiled back.
“Know what you are annoying” Jessica blurted out
“Look whose talking” Sooyoung fired back
“Look here Skinny Giraffe Let’s finish this meeting once and for all” Jessica in a serious tone
“That’s what I wanted in the first place Caramel Head” Sooyoung uttered and walks out from the powder room.
“What the..No one walks out on me..” Jessica burst into anger.
Sooyoung who is already out from the powder room saw Tiffany who was likely listening to the conversation.
“Ohh~ I was just.. you know..”
Sooyoung smiled “I think she’s back to normal”
“Thanks” Tiffany shorlty said
AT THE CONFERENCE ROOM..
Thanks to Sooyoung mocking and sarcasm Jessica reported smoothly in her marketing report and strategies.
“What do you think Miss Choi?”
“I think the Choi Company has nothing to worry about” Sooyoung smiled
“That means..”
“Yes, congratulations.”
“Thank you..” Tiffany hugged Sooyoung. Jessica was suprised that her cousin hugged Sooyoung.
“I’m sorry Miss Choi” Tiffany said when it came to her senses that she just hugged Sooyoung.
Sooyoung smiled “Just call me Sooyoung, Tiffany. By the way before I forgot the Choi Company wants an exchange employee to worked at the main branch. Our Financial Head Consultant Kwon Yuri wants an experience worker rather than a newbie with a brain” Sooyoung exclaimed
Tiffany’s eyes went wide and her heart was starting to pump so fast when she heard Yuri’s name.
“Well, that’s all I think the meeting is already done. Well take our leave now” Sooyoung muttered
“Thank you Miss Choi” President Jung said
Sooyoung nodded.
Sooyoung and Yoona were accompanied by Jeti to their car.
