Nam Woo Hyun

 

 “I’m on my way to fetch Minguk..why?” I heard she hardly swallowed her saliva.

 

“I wanted to fetch Minguk today because I know you’ll be busy but he is not here! I’m just late by 10 minutes.” I heard Ya Na starts to sob.

 

“What????!!!...wait for me … I’ll be there soon” I turn off the call and drive as faster as I can.

I parked the car in front of Ya Na that waits for me patiently.

“ Woohyun-ah, how can this thing happened ?” she hugs me to comfort herself. I pat her on the head to comfort myself too. My mind went blank and I can’t think of anything.

Ring Ring Ring

Ya Na release me and I pick up the unknown number.

“ Hello” I answered nervously.

 

“ Woohyun-ah!” I don’t know who is she but she owned ahjumma voices.

“ This, Sungkyu’s omma” I feel relieved when I know who the caller is. I’m afraid the caller might be my father, mother or even Ra Hee, the witch.

 

“ Is there…” it is weird when Mrs.Kim call me instead of her son.

“ Your mom and Minguk is at my house now” how come?

 

“Ne??” since when my mom in Seoul?

 

“Actually, your mother comes to your house but there’s no one at home so she come to Minguk’s school and pick him up. Now, she’s at my house since Minguk remember my house and they rest here for a while” I swear I feel so relieved right now.

 

“Why ? Who called you?” Ya Na ask me and I reply her with my smile instead.

“Ahh, you can’t imagine how scared I am when I realized Minguk is not in the school” Ya Na express her feelings towards me.

 

“ He’s safe in my mom guidance so don’t worry” I said to her and turn left after the traffic light showed a green light. I’m going to send Ya Na to the hospital back since she insists to finish her job there.

 

“ I know…. omo this song” Ya Na talked about Between Me & You song.

 

“ You like this song?” I ask her since this is my favorite song too.

 

“ Ne, Myung Soo –shi introduced me to this song and this is his favorites too”  all men hates when a girl mentioned other guy’s name and I’m not excluded.

 

“ Myung Soo is a nice guy. We met because he saved me from a snatch thieve and the way he chased the snatcher is very cool and….”

 

“ I don’t want to hear it” I said to her and she creates a smile.

 

“ Are you jealous?” yes ! I am jealous!

 

“ No, I’m not!” I lied.

“You lied . Look, your eyes keep blinking so that shows you’re lying to me” Ya Na knows me very well so she keeps provoke me.

 

“Why you didn’t tell me about Ra Hee ?” I ask her a hard question. I promised myself not to ask her now but it slipped out involuntarily. Then I add more,

 

“That’s why you acting so weird when I mentioned about KARA Botique & Couture” I said and we already arrived at the hospital.

 

“How can I say the truth when you look so happy with your new job. Besides, who know Ra Hee’s attitude changed to something better?”  Changed? It’s impossible.

 

“She is not changing at all. In fact, she become worst!” my blood boils when I remember this morning incident.

 

“Really?..... but I know she will change soon” she showed me her worry face. I know we have to be positive but when it comes to Kang Ra Hee, it’s all negative.

 

“Whatever” for me she will not change. Never.

 

“I’ll go first” she said to me and grab her bag at passengers seat.

 

“Wait!” I stopped her.

 

“What?” I pointed my right cheek.

“ No ! What if people see?”

“ So what? We’re husband and wife anyway” I know she wants to kiss me but she feel shy.

 

“We’re fake husband and wife” I know she didn’t mean that but still……

 

“Fine!” I’m sulking as I saw her get out from the car and ignore my request. But..…

 

“Open the window”  she knocking my window and I follow her request.

“What?”

“Look in front” for what?

 

“I don’t want to do that” I’m sulking and put my head down instead.

 

“Omo,Myungsoo-shi!” she pointed someone and when I look in front…..

 

“ Muccchh” she kiss me?

 

“ Bye ! See you tonight !” she left me after gave me the kiss.

 

Which guy be able to resist Ya Na’s charm?

"Woahh...it's look delicious " I praised my mother as I look full of foods on the table and I don't even see a space available on the table. There is kimbap - my favourite food, dumpling - Minguk's favourite food , sweet and sour pork , hot and spicy fish stew , seaweed soup,  rice and barley drinks

 

"Should we eat now? " my mother ask me and Minguk cuts.

 

" We should wait for omma" my mother still not knowing the truth just look at us blankly.

 

" I'm home !!" she must be Ya Na.

 

" Omma !!" Minguk runs to Ya Na happily and my mom expression was so blank.

 

" Woohyun-ah , what happen? " I didn't answer and smile at her instead.

 

"Anyeonghaesayo , omoni " Ya Na greet my mother and I’m witnessing her shock expressions.

 

"Ya Na-shi ? Omo, is this Ya Na?"

 

"Ne , omoni , this is me" Ya Na said and both of them hugging each other. I can see my mom is so happy and she starts to cry.

 

"Omma , don't cry" I warned her.

 

"Why I can't cry? Finally, someone will take care of you when I die one day " she said and wipe her tears using her cloth’s cuff.

 

" Do you know how worried I am when you have to go through this alone ? " I'm so thankful to have a mom like her .

 

" Haramoni, don't cry " Minguk warned her.

 

" Arasseo , arasseo , let's eat together " she said excitedly and it has been long time already I didn't see her happy like this.

 

Ya Na and I look at each other and smile.  I can feel she said " I will take care of you and Minguk like your mother did "

 

Kang Ra Hee

 

" Aaaahhhhhhhhh" I scream out of lungs after I remember what my eyes witnessed this evening.   " I hate you Lee Ya Na !!! " I throw everything that I see to release my anger.   " I hate you !!!"   "I hate you" I was panting hard .  I sit slowly on the floor at the corner of my room.   Why her? There's lot of women in this world but why must be Lee Ya Na? I can't lose to her! Never.   Flashback   " Correction..he is not your son but my son " I'm speechless when I heard that. I really hope I can see my son right now. So, without much thinking, I follow and trail him so that I can see my son even though in far distance.   As soon as I arrived  at the school I saw that woman.   "What is she's doing her ? " she looks so nervous and sad.. Is something bad happen to Minguk ?My jaw dropped when I saw the next scene.   "They are hugging ? " I said as I grasp the steering strongly because I hate to see that. In a minute they become happy back and again they are hugging each other.   " I should be the one in Ya Na's shoes ! " I'm on verge of tears when I see all the drama’s scene.  I feel hurt ! I feel more hurt when I saw she ride Woohyun's car and wanted to go to the next location.   "Where they will be going ? " so I follow them again and watch their every actions. I can see they are so happy and laughing towards each other. I promise myself that this will not last long.   After 15 minutes journey I arrived as Seoul National Children Hospital so I assume Woohyun must be sent Ya Na to the hospital.   "What are they chatting about ? " both of them didn't come out from the car at all. However , I will remember this scene forever as I saw Ya Na kiss Woohyun's cheek and bid him goodbye. How dare you!!!!   " See you tonight !" I heard Ya Na said that. Tonight? They are dating now? No no no ! It can't be like this !
