Okay, the ending of this story has left a good bit of you confused. Good. I wanted it that way. 

I designed this story to be quite immersive. If you pay attention to detail you'll notice the small and often large similarities from chapter to chapter. Both realities in which Luhan lives have aspects that could make it real and unreal. In the first reality Sehun is a ghost and a load of other fantastical things happen that don't quite make it realistic. The same goes for the other reality. The fact that Luhan imagined everything in a one night dream is quite unrealistic. Though the second reality is designed to seem more realistic than the first, they are both equally apt for being not true. I designed the story this way on purpose. I wanted this to serve as a choose your own adventure game. It's marked psychological not only because of story content but also because of its effect on the reader. I wanted to see which of you would choose what reality to be real. You can choose the first: In which Luhan gets to love Sehun head on but he eventually dies on the set date. Or you can choose the second reality: In which Luhan has to become reaquainted with Sehun and gets to love him later on, but he lives past the set date. I created parallels to the introduction of the story as well as certain chapters (baekhyun's goodbye to luhan and the poem).
