Luhan is sure that he must be dreaming. He feels as though he's having an out of body experience, and he can't get back to himself. According to Sehun, he only ever uses Luhan's body when he's away from the school. It doesn't register as a bad thing to him at first, but the situation he's in starts to sink in as he's being transported away from his life.
His feet are moving, but he's not moving them. He's talking to Sehun, and he can see Sehun as well. However, to the eye, it looks as if he's talking to himself. He's never had a problem with this before. He never minded the stares people gave him. He never minded the extra attention, but he also didn't want to be the crazy kid. He didn't want to talk to himself. He didn't to be an outsider. Old Luhan wanted everything that he questioned to be stable. He wanted sanity.
Now, as he's running away from the only home he's ever known while a ghost controls his body, he wishes he would have just made some up. He wishes that he was schizophrenic with an extra side of paranoia to explain Sehun and Minseok. However, Xiao Luhan never gets exactly what he wishes for. There's always something else to be added on to his wants. It's exhausting to be so exhausted with yourself. It's tiring to be so tired of just living day to day.
His heart is broken, his life is falling apart, the only person he's ever loved is dead, and soon he'll be dead. There's so much wrong with what's happening around him, and the only thing he can do about it...is feel it.
The police are looking for him in a frenzy. A part of him just wants to give himself up. He just wants to explain everything, but he knows how it sounds. He wouldn't believe himself if he had to hear his own story.
For the first time since his camping trip with his mother, Luhan sleeps on the ground at night. When he thinks about it, both of the occasions are similar.
He still hates the smell of wet leaves. He still can't sleep in the open darkness. Moreover, both of the people he reluctantly camped with are now dead.
It has its charms.
