March, 11, 2015 (39 days before death).

Luhan finds himself having breakfast with Chen. He can finally walk without headaches or nausea, and when Chen apologizes for Luhan's condition; he feels that it's actually genuine. He can't fathom why someone like Chen could have been seduced into working with Minseok, but he figures that, just like everything else in his life, there's more to the situation than what meets the eye.

Minseok hasn't made any appearances throughout the day. It soothes Luhan to know that Minseok has stopped trying to kill him, even if it's only because he's already succeeded and he's waiting for the vacancy of Luhan's body before he drops dead. Midst all the madness, Luhan considers himself lucky. He'd always assumed he'd been completely forgotten and ignored throughout his life, but in reality he's been trudged into a myriad of tragedy that he can't seem to escape.

March, 12, 2015 (38 days before death).

Luhan finally finds it in himself to go back to Sehun. He feels like he's being forced into submission by a weaker part of himself, and though the remedy is to just get it over with; the factor of what it is has become a never ending mystery.

When he arrives at his dorm, he finds that everything is clean. The furniture that isn't broken has been put back in its place and the colossus of paper has been sorted and stashed away.

“You're back.” Sehun's voice is devoid of emotion, and Luhan decides to return the favor.

“Yeah.”

“Listen, we need-”

“To talk? Yeah, I know.”

“No. We need to get out of here. Now. I've packed your things, and moved them already.”

“Sehun, I'm not going anywhere with you. You...you've been lying to me this whole time.” Though Luhan thought himself jaded to the feeling of betrayal, he still sheds tears at the thought that the lies don't seem to stop coming.

“Lying to you? I've never lied to you, Luhan. We don't have time for this. We need to go now.”
