C'est La Vie
La Petite MortMarch, 30, 2015 (20 days before death).
Luhan has been out of the hospital for three days, but he still feels as if his mind and body are operating on its last string of life. He has a job to do, and he's come to terms with the fact that it will mean the end of his life. He decides he's done with his imagination for now. The real world has found a notch in his mind, and no amount of denial can shake it.
He's feeling the second hand depression from Sehun. They haven't talked about it, but Luhan knows it's about Jongin. A part of him wants to soothe Sehun, another part wants to tell Sehun to it up; that Jongin is just another dead body in a cesspool of criminal activity. He knows that he can't relate to how Sehun is feeling, but he feels angry at Sehun's demeanor. He hadn't asked to be put in the middle of their situation. He hadn't asked to have his head be put on the chopping block for two people he barely knew. He hadn't asked for any of what he was dealt, but he is taking it upon himself to fix it. He's acting out of love, and that seems to mean nothing to Sehun.

Luhan has been revisiting the nurses quarters on a daily basis in hopes to lure Minseok back to the school grounds. Chen has gone missing, but for some reason the school has not alerted his family nor the police about the matter.
The detective has kept his word about staying close. Although he's never visible, he keeps a close eye on Luhan. He says it's best they don't communicate, and Luhan trusts him. There's something about the man that puts him at ease, yet makes him uncomfortable at the same time.

When Luhan wakes there's a gun to his face. He can feel the cold metal before he can see it. It's the first time he's ever been in a situation like this, but he's oddly calm.
