Days passed and Junhyung was doing anything he can to show Yoseob that he was okay if Yoseob was in a relationship with Doojoon.
Dongwoon was getting highly annoyed though because it was one thing to keep quiet and not push a stick through the thick head of Junhyung but it was a whole other issue to be used as a prop or a tool by Junhyung for a redundant purpose.

"Dongwoon!" 

The maknae sighed and controlled himself from unleashing his inner demons on his hyung and beat him up.
"What?" He asked, dragging the word to make the tone of irritation clear and obvious.

"So rude", Junhyung smacked him lightly on the back of the head before continuing, "Look, look at what Kikwang is wearing! Don't YOU find it cute?"

"It's alright", Dongwoon started but a constant nudging on his stomach made him change what he was about to say, "Oh yes, it is so cute, I can't keep my eyes off him."

Junhyung smirked and stopped nudging Dongwoon much to his relief or he would have punched that man, whether or not he is his hyung. 
Satisfied that the maknae was helping him in his self-proclaimed quest, he hopped over to Yoseob who he jealously noted was lying on Doojoon's lap, the leader his hair as he closed his eyes in peace. 

"Seobie! Did you hear that? Dongwoon finds Kikwang cute!" 

Dongwoon gritted his teeth, setting his lips in a grim line and glare at Junhyung who did not care whether or not Kikwang would start freaking out or behaving weirdly because of his words. 
However, he kept reminding himself that it was all for the sake of the couple getting together so he swallowed down all the words that threatened to spill out of his lips.

Yoseob nodded his head, eyes remaining closed, "Yeah I did."

"Don't you think the two of them would make a really adorable couple?" 

Dongwoon spat out the drink he was having and moved towards Junhyung, ready to strangle the man for saying such words in front of everyone.
It had always been only when Yoseob was around so he was okay with it, but now, with the rest of the members around, any misunderstanding that materialize might get out of control.

Yoseob frowned and sat up, blinking his eyes, adjusting to the lights and Junhyung can't help but smile at the naturally cute behaviour. 
"Junnie, don't say such things carelessly and make things awkward for them. All of us praise one another with no other intentions all the time."
Yoseob lightly lectured him, chuckling softly when he saw the pout that was forming on the heart shaped lips of his best friend.

"I'm just joking, but you know Seobie, I would be fine if ANY of the members did get together! I think it's only normal since we all hang out together so often and we have been through some really tough times!" Junhyung stressed, hoping that Yoseob would get the hint and start to open up about his present or growing relationship with Doojoon, whatever it is.

Yoseob stared at Junhyung curiously, wondering what was bugging his best friend for him to be behaving so weirdly for the past few days.
There had never been once where he had seen Junhyung so enthusiastic about pairing Dongwoon and Kikwang up and it was not only queer but the two other members were evidently displeased with the unnecessary and unjustifiable expansion of their care for one another.
He did a quick scan of the room and noted that Dongwoon looked like he was on something sour while Kikwang was thankfully just minding his own business, ignoring the ridiculity of Junhyung's words.
However, to prevent Junhyung from continuing on this strange, persistent streak of playing matchmaker, the smaller male gently pulled Junhyung up with him and led him into the bedroom, ready to have a serious talk with him.

"Junnie, don't you see that Dongwoon and Kikwang are not very happy that you have been pairing them up for the past few days?" 
Yoseob asked, as he closed the door, taking a seat on one of the lower beds and pulling the oblivious man to sit beside him.
He waited and observed how Junhyung's face morphed from one in confusion to one in realization before it finally settled to one that was troubled.
The eyes of the man that sat by his side were darting around, as if searching for something, an idea or an answer. 

"What's going on? Is there a reason why you are doing all these?" The singer pressed a finger on the meeting point of the rapper's furrowed brows, rubbing it in circles, hoping to loosen the tension and relieve him of his worries.

Junhyung shook his head and started laughing nervously, "No! Why would there be? I just thought they were cute together! I don't have any meaning behind all these! None at all!" 

Yoseob threw an impassive look at Junhyung, "Right...like I would believe that. Since when have you started hiding things from me?"

Junhyung gave a look of aghast at Yoseob's accusation, snapping back thoughtlessly, "You are the one hiding things from me!"

"What?!"

"You are in a relationship with Doojoon and you are trying to hide it from me that's why you have been behaving strangely around me!" Junhyung exclaimed, arms crossed to further emphasize that he was peeved. 

"what... what?!" Yoseob stuttered, being thrown completely off guard by Junhyung and flabbergasted at his words.

"Don't even try to lie. I realised it that day I punch that Leo man in the dance room. I saw how Doojoon knows so much about you, more than I do, and how you allowed him to be so close to you and then it all clicked in my head! You are behaving strangely because you were hiding your relationship with him from me and you felt bad because it's not a boy-girl relationship and you are afraid I would judge you! But Yoseob, no! I would never ever judge you. You're my best friend, you can tell me anything, I will not react badly if you preferred someone of the same gender!" Junhyung continued rambling about his discontentment with the 'relationship' and secrecy of it while Yoseob blinked his eyes slowly, trying to make sense the situation.

After some time, Junhyung fell into silence as he saw that Yoseob was staring blankly in his direction, not moving at all.
"Yoseob?"

Yoseob's eyes came back into focus and as he looked at Junhyung, he muttered quietly, "Doojoonie and I have always just been friends and it will remain this way forever."

Junhyung scanned Yoseob's face for any hesitation and when he saw none, he gave a loud sigh of relief and hugged him, "Thank goodness!" 
He didn't mean to do that but he had never felt happier to know that Yoseob wasn't in a relationship.
Besides, Yoseob did not deny that he prefers someone of the same gender, which meant that there was a chance, no matter how minute, that Yoseob might fall for him!

However, Yoseob misunderstood.

His heart fell to his stomach, the blood coursing through his veins turned icy cold at Junhyung's words.
To him, it sounded like Junhyung was relieved that Yoseob was not in love with a man, not attracted to someone of the same gender. 

"So why were you behaving strangely?" Junhyung asked, breaking Yoseob out of his depressing train of thoughts.

Smiling weakly, he shook his head, "I'm not, really. Maybe I am just tired from all the dancing and recordings we have to do." 

"Really?"

"Really. There's no reason to lie."
