Chapter 008 - List of Crimes

Luhan fell asleep at his desk after refusing to sleep in his bed, where Sehun have slept in before. During the late night footsteps sound in his room for a brief moment. And when morning rises, a ring of their door-bell woke Luhan up from his spot. 

"Luhan!" 

Luhan heard Jongdae's call and eyes widen a bit. He rubbed his eyes to wake himself up fully then head out after Jongdae call his name once more. 

"Luhan it's for you!" 

Right when Luhan opened the door he saw Minseok and Dongwoo standing at the door, with bags in their hands. "Luge!" Minseok let out an excited screech and ran over just to hug Luhan in a tight hold. "Oh Luge I missed you!" 

A smile spread across Luhan's face as he patted the shorter yet bigger man gently, "Oh Minge, why are you here?" Luhan asked as Minseok hummed softly. Then he pushed away and gripped onto Luhan's arms instead. 

"I came to see you of course. Dongwoo said you called but I was already in bed, so I thought we should come by before I work again this evening. But it seems you're doing well, right?" Minseok asked with a bright smile. His smile was so bright that even Luhan had to return a sincere smile. Luhan nodded as Minseok's smile deepens. 

Dongwoo and Jongdae was standing near one another, when Luhan looked over he noticed how Jongdae had his hands in his pockets and was standing in a strange position. Jongdae just looked different, he wasn't his usual talkative and happy-go-lucky self. Not that Luhan know much about him anyway, but he was sure that usually Jongdae would be more brighter. 

Dongwoo on the other hand wore an easy smile with his teeth showing. In his hands were grocery bags. 

"Luhan," Jongdae started to gain all heads in the room, "are they friends of yours?" 

"Yeah, why?" Luhan questioned as Minseok released his grip around Luhan's arms. 

"Nothing. I'm heading out." Jongdae said bluntly. 

"W-why? Is something wrong?" Luhan couldn't help but asked. Sure he doesn't like Jongdae, especially since the lad tried to sacrifice him once for his kid uncle. But Jongdae was still his house buddy, and the fact that Jongdae was acting weird somehow bugged him. 

Dongwoo on the other hand blew out a puff of warm air, "Don't mind him Luhan, he's probably just uneasy because of my presence." 

"Yours—?" Luhan was about to question but Jongdae jumped in. 

"If you know then would you mind getting out of my house?" Jongdae snapped, making Dongwoo sighed. 

"Hey, why are you guys like this?" Minseok asked, directing his question to Dongwoo. Instead of answering Dongwoo dropped the bags in his hand and spun to face Jongdae, grabbing his shirt's collar. Jongdae didn't back off and stole a hold of Dongwoo's as well. 

"Why are you back in Korea?" Dongwoo asked to Jongdae, but the taller scoff. 

"Don't pretend you don't know, I was born here unlike you. Why don't you go back to the wild where you came from?" Jongdae taunted. 

"You bastard, how dare you—" Dongwoo said under a low and dangerous tone until Minseok jump in and grabbed a hold of his arm. 

"Dongwoo let him go, why are you acting like this to Luhan's house mate?" Minseok questioned under a whisper. Luhan could only observe from the side, confused at what was happening. 

"Minseok move Luhan out right now. Why would you let your friend's brother live with this guy?" Dongwoo raised his voice making Minseok and Luhan jump. Meanwhile a smirk crawled over Jongdae's face. 

"Are you in any position to order anyone around, Jang Dongwoo?" Jongdae asked, Dongwoo flattened his eyes when he couldn't think of a comeback. Finally a strong force pulled them apart, forcing Dongwoo to take countless steps back. 

In front of Jongdae was his kid uncle, Sehun. Sehun wore an unamused expression. Upon seeing Sehun, Dongwoo couldn't help but sneered. "As expected, you Oh Sehun is really like that bastard's shadow." 

"Dongwoo stop it, let's go out." Minseok said pushing his friend, "L-Luge we're leaving first." Minseok said as he kept pushing Dongwoo out. Dongwoo tried to retaliate but he didn't put in much power because he didn't want to hurt Minseok in the process. Luhan locked eyes with Sehun and Jongdae for a moment then followed Minseok and Dongwoo out without another word. 

Sehun turned around to look at Jongdae but the lad heaved a sharp sigh and shoved his hands into his pockets again.
