Chapter 14

Ravi was kinda pissed but took pity on the older male because something must definitely be wrong for N to come and ask for his help “Calm down hyung, take a deep breath and tell me what’s wrong okay?” Ravi tried to smile in order to comfort N who did as he said before starting again “Ravi…there is…there is…” N looked ready to cry “There is what?” Ravi urged N to complete his sentence…. “THERE IS A SPIDER IN MY ROOM RAVI-AH! A BIG BLACK UGLY EIGHT-LEGGED AND DISGUSTING SPIDER!!” N screamed his lungs out throwing his arms and legs around Ravi’s waist before shouting again “SAVE ME!” While Ravi was stumped, N knocked on his door at near mid-night and was clinging to him like a koala because….there was spider in his room!?

Ravi tried to calm down, because he was gonna burst with annoyance and anger any moment. But then N clinged on tighter and it made Ravi’s anger cool down a bit, he really did seem freaked out though it was odd for a grown man to be scared of a tiny(according to N ‘BIG’) insect. He pulled N off him and took a deep breath “Okay, where is the spider?” He asked N who quickly pointed towards his room and Ravi looked at him like he was dumb. Of course it was in his room! He had asked where exactly but he thought it would be better if he just looked himself. He walked inside N’s room with N hiding behind him. Just like he said, there was a small spider by the foot of N’s bed “LOOK! There it is! The monster, kill it palli! Or it’ll eat us!” Ravi held back from laughing out loud, it was strange to see N so……worked up over a small insect. He was starting to think that N was probably more…much more dramatic than he thought. Ravi took a tissue before casually walking towards the spider, crouching down and captured it in the tissue, then threw it in the dustbin. He then looked at N with a triumphant expression, obviously proud “DONE! Now you can sleep peacefully and hopefully….let me do the same” Ravi doubted N could sense his sarcasm with the way he was being at the moment “G’night!” Ravi said finally and walked out before N stopped him again “Wait!” Ravi turned around annoyed “Now what?” He saw N his lips nervously before he shocked Ravi by saying “umm—can I—can I sleep with you tonight?”   “WHAT!?” N stared at him nervously before he caught on “NO! YAH I didn’t mean it like that you ert! I just meant,you know…in case the spider comes back?” N was clearly fidgeting as he got the words out. He was sure the larva would like hell tomorrow, but anything beat getting eaten by a ‘big black ugly eight-legged and disgusting’ spider! “I just killed the spider hyung. Do you think it’ll become a ghost and come back to ‘eat’ u or something?”  Ravi stared at N for a moment, wondering if the male had some kind of phobia of spiders too. “Please….?” N whispered so lowly Ravi almost didn’t hear it but boy did it boost his ego! He cleared his throat, staying silent for a moment liking the hopeful look in N’s eyes “Well then...I guess you can…” Ravi didn’t know why he was agreeing but he was. “T-thanks” N said in an extremely low volume making Ravi snort “Still so proud when I’ve seen you at your weakest” He smirked when N glared at him. “Come on let’s sleep” He cut N off before he could say anything and left for his room with N following.

“Okay you can take the couch. G’night! Don’t let the ‘spiders’ bite” Ravi smiled deviously, giving N a spare blanket and pillow and settled in bed, finally getting his much needed sleep. N also laid down, silently cursing and also thanking the larva…

In the morning, N woke up feeling warm and very very comfy, he hadn’t slept so nicely in a while. Wanting a few more moments of peace he snuggled closer to the comfortable, sturdy and moving warmth below him. Wait…..moving? N’s eyes shot open as he sat up straight at lightning speed. Ravi was sleeping peacefully, his now blue hair contrasting perfectly again the white of the pillows. His mouth was slightly open as he snored. In contrast to his usual manly image, he looked like a child and a cute one at that! N smiled to himself at his thoughts before shaking his head and reprimanding himself for thinking like that.
