Oppa, how are you? I hope you’re doing well, everyone does. I hear more stories about you every day from your friends. We always talk about you and wonder what you would be doing with us at that very moment. Probably complaining about how we all have nothing else better to do with our lives anymore or you’d be trying to compose something on that guitar of yours. It’s probably the second one. You and that guitar were inseparable. I wonder if you still are.

          You once asked me a question about what I regret in the world and you then asked me if I regretted meeting you and I told you no, I didn’t. I still don’t. I never will. You were a special time in my life, a time when everything seemed to be crumbling around me and I had nowhere to go. You were my safe haven; it was like you protected me from the outside. You helped shield the pain that I knew was eventually coming but couldn’t bring myself to say or acknowledge it. And for that, I thank you. I thank you for all of the times that we spent together, those times that would become precious memories, even if we didn’t know it at that time.

          So, I hope you’re doing well. I think about you all the time and when I think that I can’t handle the world anymore, I think about what you would do and how you would handle it. I think about you being next to me and comforting me. I hope I remember you forever and I hope you remember me forever, too. Even if I were born again, even if I had the chance to redo it all again, I’d pick the same path, the same fate. Why? Because I love you and that can never be changed.
