"Boram-ah."

A familiar voice is calling her but she didn't look back. Knowing who it is, she strides even faster.

"Yah! Park Boram." Seungyoon kept on calling her but she acted like she doesn't hear anything.

"I know you can hear me." He declared, making enormous steps, almost running to catch her up.

When Boram felt he is virtually near her, she finally faced him.

"What now?"

"Are you avoiding me?"

"Seungyoon-ah, how many times do I have to tell you this? I am not."

"But why are you alwa--"

"Look. I am in a hurry. I have to meet my mom."

Seungyoon just stared at her with a very gloomy look in his eyes. Boram looked away.

"I have to go."

Seungyoon didn't say anything anymore. He just watched her leave until she's absolutely out of his sight. That's the nth time she declined talking to him.

It's been weeks since he had a normal conversation with Boram. That was the night when they won the collaboration battle. From then on, she has been avoiding him. Although she always professed that she's not, that's how Seungyoon see it. They were still on the same competition but he rarely see her. Not like before where they would always hangout together even if they are not rehearsing for the same performance. Even when they are in the studio or practice room with the other entrants, she won't dare look at him.

Not a single day passed by without Seungyoon wondering why she's acting so distant to him. He attempted so many times approaching her but the same thing happens. He always end up rejected.

'Just stop it, Kang Seungyoon', Boram contemplates as she walked away from him. She can't delete his lonely eyes in her reverie. It's haunting her. As much as she denies that she is avoiding him, that's what she's actually doing. It's something she already adjuticated and she has to live with it.

Only a week is left and it's Superstar K2's final battle and just the thought of it makes Boram feel worn out. She is alone in the practice room now, preparing hard for the final battle. She is so determined and undaunted to give her best shot for the final performance. That's why she's still there, pulling her vocal chords out 'til late night hours. Everyone already went home but she still feel lacking so she decided to stay and practice until she satisfies herself.

After few rounds of singing, Boram sat on the settee to ease her tiredness. She still feel somehow discontented. She stretched both of her arms up to relax. As she looks around, a black guitar at the corner properly placed in its stand caught her attention.  It was Seungyoon's. It is very unusual of him to leave his guitar in practice room since he always use it even in dorm, she thought. She stood up to get it. Mere holding his guitar made her miss him more.

She started strumming few chords and sing with the melody. She can also play guitar but only the basics, not as good as Seungyoon.

She's almost lost in her music. Her heart and mind were submerged with Seungyoon thoughts as of the moment. It is painful and distressing to avoid him. It's heartbreaking to set aside their friendship just to prevent herself from hurting even more. That last night they were together made her realize one thing she's always been afraid of. Falling in love with him. And damn it. It is actually happening.
