Never ask her anything. She's sick. Don't you dare cause her additional stress.

Those were the first things Seungyoon arranged in his conception before heading to where he is standing right now. He peeked again at the three numbers made of stainless steel fixed on the white wooden door and realized that he's been positioned there in front for a good fifteen minutes to the point that he could picture every detail of that '706' in his brain perfectly. Should I knock or not? As if this is a nerve-jerking quantitative analysis question he's been analyzing so hard that he couldn't solve. The tacit hallway of the hospital's 7th floor is deafening. He was about to crane around when he sensed something passed by his back. Startled, he abruptly put a hand on his chest and gasped. Jeez. That was creepy. The nurse gave him a peculiar look before continuing her walk. That's where he discerned how he acted weird and silly. Nice one, Seungyoon.

He silently cast a curse to Nam Taehyun under his breath for infecting him with his scaredy-cat nature before going back to his current dilemma. 'You can always lie to me, hyung. But please don't lie with your own feelings.' Taehyun's words of enlightenment resounded in his head. Right. It's no time to be a jerk. After boosting himself some confidence, he finally knocked.

Knock, knock, are you there?

Knock, knock, give me an answer

He almost voiced out that excerpt from Mino's part in their song, Tonight, after the third attempt of knocking, but then, no one is answering. He took a deep breath before twisting the door knob and finally opening it. Lights are off. Only the radiance from the hallway is making things visible inside the room. Slowly and quietly, he stepped in. She's sleeping. It's passed 2am so what do you expect? Seungyoon was a little disappointed that she's no more awake, but seeing her serene face while sleeping calms his heart. Then again, he admitted, Park Boram is so beautiful.

He focused his gaze on her face as he go nearer to her bed. Her head was a bit tilted on the left, where her hand was placed. That hand was soft, and kind of pluffy, well, before. He smiled at the thought. Those long, delicate fingers were perfect, especially when gliding with the strings of guitar. He noticed her lips, which were pinkish for a person that's sick, were slightly parted and he found it adorable. Those lips. He frowned. I've already decided not to ask anything about that. He swiftly wiped away the scene in his reverie. I should not disturb her peaceful sleep. Maybe it isn't the right time. A deep sigh escaped his lips. He took one last glimpse at her, then he wriggled around. Maybe, next time. Leisurely, he began to promenade on the way out.

"Nuguseyo?"

Seungyoon stiffened a little when he heard the voice.

Boram rubbed her eyes for a clearer sight. It was dark. The person inside her room was blocking the light from the hallway. She wasn't really sure, but she felt someone is watching her, perhaps, that's what woke her up. It's the exact same feeling when she felt someone was eyeing on them right after Mino kissed her. Ugh, the kiss. She remembered it again.

"Yah, nuguseyo?"

She repeated her question when the person didn't answer. Though it's dim, she's pretty sure it wasn't her manager. Based on the height, he's way taller. Most probably, he wasn't a nurse either. Will a nurse wear a black leather jacket and tight jeans? I don't think so. Although a bit wobbly, she sat up to scan the stranger.

"Yah, I said--"

It stopped her when the guy pressed the switch to turn on the lights. He's not yet turning around to face her, but she already had an idea who is he. From widening, she blinked her eyes a few times to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. But, why is he here? The guy looped around and faced her, only to confirm her deductions. She tried to act nonchalant, but the jolt can't be hidden. Again, why is he here?

"I-I'm sorry to disturb your sleep." Seungyoon stammered shyly as he scrunched his nose. It's not so him to act embarrassed in front of people, even in front of YG, but the mere presence of this girl caused him to stutter like a nitwit.

Astonished with his sudden presence, it took Boram few seconds before she processed what Seungyoon said. She just continued staring at him blankly.

"You can go back to sleep if you want. I'll just leave. I only.. Uhh, want to know if you're okay." Seungyoon mumbled. A bit taken aback with Boram's reaction, he felt somehow upset that he seemingly flustered her.

He wants to know if I'm okay? Really? Why?

"No, it's okay. I was just a bit frightened. I didn't recognize you immediately. I thought you were.. Uh, you know. Because it's dark."

"Actually, I didn't turn on the lights on purpose. I supposed not to wake you up, but.. you did. Sorry. Again. For scaring you." Seungyoon explained, rubbing his nape with one of his palms.

Boram fondly studied how this supposedly cool idol a.k.a WINNER's almighty leader acts so shy in front of her. She fight the urge to giggle at the thought. Yeah, she always knew the real Seungyoon. She kinda feel privileged at the moment, over his fangirls, how she knew him well off-camera.

"How did you know I am here?"

Lame question. Of course, Mino Oppa might have told him. Boram mentally reprimanded herself.

Feeling kind of stiff with the distance, Seungyoon closed the half-opened door then walked closer to her. Boram eyed on the end side of her bed, as if gesturing him to sit, and so he did. The near span between them began provoking Boram to flush, so she drew her gaze to other things.

"I saw it on the news." Seungyoon answered. "From the internet." He added.

Flustered, she moved her gaze back to him. On the internet? He's searching my name?

Upon her questioning look, he continued explaining. "Taehyunie is the one who actually saw it. Then, he told me."

As if he will search for you. Pfft. She already pouted before she could resist her lips.

"Is there a problem?" Seungyoon asked in wonder. But deep within, he found that pout too cute. He smiled inwardly.

"Eopseoyo. So, why are you here?" She tried to sound casual but she almost taunted. He just came here because obliged him to visit his sick old friend. Tss.

"I want to know your condition myself. You really made me worried." He muttered with all earnestness as he looked directly in her eyes. He let out a sigh. "Are you okay now?"

A buoyant burn crept in her. I made him... worried? "Why?" It wasn't her intention to voice out the question but it came out. Boram kicked herself mentally. Fudge! "I-I mean, yeah, I'm okay.. now."

Dazed, he instinctively shifted nearer to her and held onto one of her forearms, "I know I'm not in position to say this, but please, Boram, don't ever do this again. Don't overdo things. Take care of yourself as much as.. people care for you."

The contact induced an igniting feeling. People? Care for me? Who? Do you care for me, Seungyoon?

As if the guy read her mind, he speak out the answer to her questions. "I mean your family. Your Eomma and Appa will be so sad and worried if they knew you were hospitalized. Your fans. You know how they really love you and looking forward to your performances, right?"

Boram waited for him to continue, but to her disappointment, he didn't include what she wanted to hear. She shooked her head low so he won't see her wry face.

"And... me. I care for you." Seungyoon murmured as he slightly gave her an arm squeeze.

Her heart pounds the quickest that she could even hear the beats. Again, a burn crept in her, same as earlier, except drastic. Nonchalantly, she stared up to him. This time, they're both beholding at each others eyes. No words are said, but as if they're having some unspoken communication up until they both flushed in red.

Before things got intense, Boram averted upon hearing a foily resonance. She searched for wherever the sound is coming and saw a cat, waving its tail near a paper bag.

Err. That was close. Seungyoon madly glared at the cat while she isn't looking. It seems that the poor animal received the frantic glare because it popped out to nowhere all of sudden. To be very honest, it's actually none of his intentions to, uhh, do something.. to her.. earlier. Nevertheless, it was almost perfect until the damn cat appeared and he couldn't help but feel somehow agitated. Before Boram's eyes totally transform to two big question marks, he began to speak.

"Umm, that was.. Actually, I bought some instant porridge for you." He pursed his lips and scratched his nape sheepishly. Back to the shy Seungyoon. "I supossed you need to eat more since you're sick." He smiled timidly.

"Oh," She mumbled with the 'o' lips. "Thanks.
