Mornings have never been this eminently promising to Seungyoon. Past whispering a little gratuity to the Almighty Creator above for bestowing him another day to live, the next thing he does is jerk his lips up in a broad auspicious smile. He reached for his phone underneath his squishy navy blue pillow like what he always do after waking up. Yet, this time around, not just to check the time nor attest their today's schedule, but to send a message to someone. Ostensibly, that someone wasn't their manager as anticipated. He leisurely scrolled his contacts to find the one he saved the latest. The smile that lodged his face widened even more at the phonebooked name. Gongju-yah (Princess).

3 hours. Including the flexing and turnings, he only slept for three skimpy hours. Prosaically, for an individual like Seungyoon who believes that every person deserves a complete eight-hour sleep in a daily manner, a nagging monster must have woken up. But what's flabbergasting is that he even roused couple of minutes ahead of his alarm. The last time he bang on squarely like this is the morning after Team A was announced as WINNER on Who Is Next. A delighted heart always got the power to control his mood swings, in a godsend way.

After multifold times of revising the SMS he's supposed to send her, at last, he made up his mind to tap the send button. He also changed his message alert tone to some longer and louder sound clip so he could hear immediately as soon as she replied. Blithely, he hauled up his trunk off his bed and glanced at his reflection on the mirror. Dark circles around his eyes were emerging, but his lit up grin is more sufficient than any brand of BB cream to conceal it. He saw Jinwoo still fully covered with blanket, curled on his bed, but then, never minded to wake him. He must have pulled-out an all-nighter again for his favorite dramas. Fleetly, he grabbed his towel instead and travelled on the way to bathroom for shower.

As soon as Seungyoon set foot out his room with towel on his shoulder while humming some melody which he's not really sure what, Taehyun, who's sipping out a mug of brewed coffee on their dining table, eyed him with an astounded look. The maknae couldn't help but smirk at the sight of the good mood leader. He won't probably be needing to ask the details of the happenings in the hospital.

While Seunghoon was busy preparing breakfast, Seungyoon took the opportunity to take a bath, which could also be referred as an acapella solo concert with toilet bowl as platform. His stomach began to rumble in hunger when he emanated the scent of bacon and egg meandering around the kitchen up to the edge of the comfort room.

"Breakfast ready!" Seunghoon shouted as soon as he landed the plates of all he cooked on the table. After a minute or two, he creased his brows in wonder when no one seemed to hear the magic word 'breakfast', except Taehyun who's already sitting there even before he started cooking, "Where are they?"

Taehyun took another sip before crossing his legs and leaning his back to the chair, "Mino hyung left already. It's supposed to be their final rehearsal in MuBank. Jinwoo hyung? I bet he's still sleeping. He stayed up late watching a stereotyped japanese drama as usual. And Seungyoon hyung--" Taehyun's detailed explanation was thwarted when a phone placed on the shoe rack beside the bathroom started ringing. He merely gestured towards the direction, enough for Seunghoon to realize where their leader is.

Seunghoon, still wearing the red checkered apron, paced to answer the phone on the owner's behalf. Perhaps, it's their manager who never fails to constantly remind them of the day's activities regularly, despite knowing that Seungyoon won't forget doing the same prior him. He was about to grab the buzzing phone when the bathroom door suddenly dashed open.

"That's mine!" Seungyoon jabbered, abruptly clutching the phone with his free hand while the other is gripping the only piece of cloth shielding him from .

Startled, Seunghoon gasped and raised both his hands in surrender, "Fine. If you say so." He shot him a half-skeptical look before paving away slowly. "By the way, freshly cooked food tastes better. You can continue your mini concert later."

Busy watching the entire scenario, Taehyun wrinkled his temples, pondering why Seungyoon acted that eccentric towards a mere call. What's more intriguing is that he never speak a word to answer it, but viewed it focally as if reading something. A message? That ring tone was just for a message? He raised one of his drooped brows.

On the other hand, Seungyoon's heart fluttered in excitement the moment he read the sender's name. Wasting no second, he clicked it open.

Gongju-yah: Can I roll my eyes now? ㅋㅋㅋ Thank you for last night. The doctor said I could rest at home if I want so I'm off today. See you. :)

Seungyoon tried his best to oppose his face muscles from curving up wide, but it's no use. He held onto his phone with relish and stared at the message for a quite little longer.

"Dammit, hyung." Taehyun blurted out as he pushed his chair off the table, using both his hands clasping the table's edge for support.
