HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JB!!! (6 JAN)

Youngjae gritted his teeth as he kept on hearing you and JB giggling at the littlest of things. Everyone was gathered on the floor, enjoying their chinese takeout as the boys kept on telling you about JB's embarassing secrets.

"Hey, Youngjae!" JB called out suddenly.

His head snapped back up and the first thing he saw your emptionless face as you looked at him.

"Huh? Yeah?" he asked as he turned a little to the side to look at JB instead.

"I'm just surprised that you have not said anything the past half an hour when you know almost everything about me," JB said.

"Ah~" Youngjae responded as he thought of what to say next.

"Well, come on, Youngjae," you said suddenly, catching his attention.

The two of you looked into one another's eyes and just for a second, Youngjae was reliving the past. Your eyes twinkled the same except this time, it felt weird since you were doing it to act as though you were trying to be friends with your boyfriend's best friend.

"Tell me something I don't know about JB," you continued on as you turned to look at JB again.

Youngjae felt his blood boil by the way you and JB looked so lovingly at one another.

"JB's a ," he blurted out and there was an awkward silence before Jackson bursted out laughing.

"AWKWARD~" Jackson and Bambam chimed in unison causing everyone to laugh except for you and Youngjae.

You glared at him secretly, knowing what his plan was.

"Whatever~ I'm sure Sora hasn't had a first either," JB said, trying to hide his embarassment.

"Oh? Sora, you have not done it before?" Youngjae questioned, perfectly knowing you two had done it once before.

If it wasn't for everyone else in the room, you would have rushed up to him and beat the heck out of him. Yet you remained calm, knowing he was only doing so to make you angry. In order for him not to feel satisfied, you slung your arm around JB's shoulder. Then you pushed his other cheek close to you so you could give him a peck on his cheek. Slowly, Youngjae's smile faded and he became angry again when you looked back at him.

"Oh well~ I guess I'm going to have to lead him when the time comes," you said cooly, causing everyone to laugh loudly.

LATER ON...

Most of the others went out just to chill while you, JB and Youngjae remained at home. Youngjae was watching television when he saw you come out of JB's room and walk towards the kitchen. Knowing it was an opportunty to confront you, he rushed over to where you were.

"What the heck was that?!" he asked and you rolled your eyes at him.

"Yah, Kang Sora," he called out firmly and you faced him.

"What?" you asked coldly, taking him aback.

"Listen, I've moved on and after what you said during our break-up, it seems that you moved on long time ago. I want to be happy and JB makes me happy. Whatever, we're never going to like one another again...  but please, for JB's sake, lets pretend that we don't know each other," you pleaded and Youngjae relaxed his expression.

No matter how much you hated Youngjae's guts for leaving you, you knew he wasn't all that bad. One of the things you appreciated about him was his rational side.

"... For JB huh?" Youngjae asked and you nodded in reply.

He closed his eyes and let out a long sigh before opening them again. Then he held out his hand.

"I don't even have to tell you to treat him right... I know you're going to make him the happiest man alive," he said with a slight smile and you smiled in response as well.

"Thanks, Youngjae," you said sincerely as you shook his hand once before taking two glasses of water and going back to JB's room.

Youngjae went to Jr.'s room to relax since his room was taken by you and JB. He lied down on the neat mattress and let out a sigh of relief. He was finally glad that his friend was happy but even more so that he finally made peace with you... well, to a certain extent.

THE NEXT DAY...

It was JB's birthday and coincidentally, the boys were all free except for JB himself. The members had wished him a happy birthday in the morning just before he left while you left him a voice message since he was already busy when you did so. Your phone started to ring just as you finished your bowl of cereal.

"Hello?" you greeted.

"Noona!" Yugyeom chirped, making you laugh at his cuteness.

"Hi, Yugyeom~" you replied.

"The hyungs and I are free today and we were wondering if you'd like to go shopping with us for JB hyung's birthday," he suggested and your eyes lit up instantly.

"Sure! I'm going to get ready now! Just text me the place to meet," you said before the both of you hung up.

LATER ON...

You arrived at M shopping mall and saw the boys inside a cafe. You flashed a smile as you came in and everyone saw you.

"SORA!" everyone greeted enthusiatically while Youngjae just smiled and waved at you.

You waved in reply, not wanting the damage the so called mended relationship between you and Youngjae.

"Sora yah~ What do you want? I'll treat you," Jinyoung offered with a smile on his face.

"Hmmm~" you said as you spun around to look at the menu shown near the counter.

"There's Peppermint Mocha, by the way," Youngjae said without thinking.

"Oh yay!" you cheered and then your eyes widened and so did his.

"How did you know she liked that?" Bambam asked as everyone looked at Youngjae.

"I just blurted out the first drink I saw," Youngjae lied smoothly as he pointed to the big poster at the door, showing a tall glass of Peppermint Mocha.

"Ah~" everyone replied as they focused on their drinks again.

Everybody finished their drinks and were walking out fof the cafe when you and Youngjae walked side by side by chance.

"You dork," you said in a hushed voice.

"It just came out," he muttered under his breath, making you laugh.

The 7 of you entered a clothing and accessories store which just screamed 'JB style'. The first thing you headed to was the shirts section but Youngjae pulled you away and brought you to the shoes section instead.

"This is better for JB," he explained and you oh-ed in reply.

You stared at a pair and just as you reached out for a pair, Youngjae placed his hand on it as well and the both of you pulled your hands away awkwardly.

"For JB?" you asked and he shook his head sheepishly.

"It was my style. You?" he replied.

"I guess I have to spend more time with JB," you said, realising it was second nature to pick stuff that were of Youngjae'staste for guys.

"Don't be too hard on yourself, Sora. JB's easy to figure out and I can tell you're getting there soon," he said reassuringly as he looked at you.

"Yeah..." you said, still feeling a little guilty.

Knowing you were feeling down, Youngjae took a pair and handed it over to you.

"JB is going to smile so wide when he sees those shoes," he said and you smiled in reply.

"Thanks, Youngjae," you said as you approached the salesperson to find the right size for JB.

AT NIGHT...

"GUYS! I'M BACK!" JB shouted at the top of his lungs as he stretched his hands in the air after a long day of work.

However, all the lights were off and there was silence. He took off his shoes as he continued to call for s but again, silence. Just as he was about to turn on the living room lights, the light in his room flickered on and he could see the light from the opening of the door at the bottom.

"What the..." he muttered under his breath as he turned the doorknob and opened the door.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JB!!!!!" everyone exclaimed as they pulled the strings of the party poppers.

JB started laughing as Bambam wore on a kid's party hat on top of his snapback. Your smile was plastered on his face as he opened the member's presents for him, one by one. It finally came to your turn and everyone decided to leave the room... with Mark ensuring the door was fully open. He came over to you and you laughed as you continued to stare at how childish he looked with the party cone hat on him.

"Happy Birthday~" you said merrily as you held out your present which was wrapped nicely.

"But first~" he said cheekily.

He held the present and placed his arms around you, pulling you close as he laid a kiss upon your lips. You quickly leaned away as the kiss got longer.

"Okay, enough! Now this!" you said as placed the present back in between you two.

He tore the wrapping apart, excited to see what was inside. His eyes widened when he saw a pair of black, leather, high top sneakers inside the box. Then he looked at you, shocked.

"You like it?" you asked nervously and he couldn't help but laugh at your innocent expression.

"I love it... BUT," he said as he placed the box on the floor to hug you again.

"Not as much as I love you~" he said cheesily.

Youngjae couldn't help but overhear as he stopped in his steps while walking towards his room to get something. He paused when he heard your laughter.

"What the heck, JB?" you responded with a chuckle as you hugged him back.

"Gosh! Why are you so cheesy, Choi Youngjae?!" you replied after telling you a cheeky pick-up lin he learnt.

"Yah! Its only you who I do this to so feel blessed!" Youngjae argued childishly.

"Aigoo~ How can I not feel blessed with you around?" you replied making Youngjae's smile even wider than before.

Youngjae was brought back to reality when you were at the door.

"Hey, Youngjae, I'm going home!" you said as you gave him a quick hug.

"By the way, thanks," you whispered into his ear before pulling away.

"No problem, Sora," he said with a sad smile as you rushed to put on your shoes and go home before the manager arrived.

"She's the best, huh?" JB said as he slung his arm around Youngjae's shoulder and walked back into their room.

"You have no idea, Hyung..." Youngjae replied in his mind.
