“Six! That puts me on...a Community Chest!” Jackson claps his hands in glee. Jaebum scowls, mentally willing it to be the card that has him pay for street repairs for his houses and hotels. It wouldn’t be enough to bankrupt him, but it would certainly brighten Jaebum’s mood. “‘You have won second prize in a beauty contest – Collect $10.’ Hee hee,” Jackson giggles as he collects his money from the 'bank'.

Jaebum’s scowl deepens. Oh well, at least it wasn’t one of those cards which would make him give money to Jackson. Looking down at the paltry sum by his knees, Jaebum has to be thankful for that. There’s no way he could possibly afford it, at least not until he passes Go.

“Alright, it’s your turn Jaebum. Try not to get a three, a four, or a five,” Jackson sings out as he hands over the dice. Jaebum closes his eyes, blocking him out as he channels all his focus into rolling the six that will land him on Go, or a seven or nine that will have him pass Go and land on one of the few properties he owns.

“Six, seven, nine…Six, seven, nine… Six, seven, nine,” he murmurs as he shakes the dice in his hands. He rolls them onto the board. Snake eyes! He land on a Chance square.

“Ooo, this could either be really good, or really bad for you,” Jackson patronizingly stage-whispers as he rubs his hands together. Jaebum’s hand hovers over the Chance card pile with his eyes closed as he mutters a short prayer. He flips the card over.

“ this game!” Jaebum kicks over the ‘bank’ as he storms off into the kitchen to get himself a drink. Jackson’s spiteful cackling follows him.

“‘Go to Jail – Go directly to jail – Do not pass Go – Do not collect $200.’ Haha! for you, JB!” A light clacking sound drifts through the room as Jackson picks up Jaebum’s shoe and plops it down in the jail square so forcefully that it jostles the red and green plastic properties on the board.

“Whatever,” Jaebum glowers at him from around his can of beer. He never liked Monopoly anyway.
