a plot about two struggling artists: muse a is a painter and muse b is a musician and they live in this tiny studio apartment together in new york city, and they're desperately in love with one another; they are each other’s muse and continue to inspire one another everyday. they’re scraping by on their life savings and the money gained from their talents and sometimes it’s scarce, but they make do with what they have because to them, they have everything if they have each other. and i just want cute little moments where they’re sitting on the couch and muse b is strumming the guitar and muse a is watching them, listening with paint-stained hands and they’re just completely mesmerised by one another; then muse b asks muse a to draw a little something on the guitar. and it’s just serene, beauty in all the simplicity and they just live their lives together and that’s their art.

a plot where muse a is this anxious, quiet new kid at this huge boarding school who suffers from something like ocd or basically any other anxiety disorder, and muse b is this spontaneous firecracker already going there who’s pretty much the polar opposite of muse aand the exact type of person who should scare the out of them, but instead muse a feels drawn to their electricity. and almost immediately, they become the type of friends who tease each other continuously. muse a will go on and on about how annoying and loud muse b is and muse b will ruffle muse a’s hair and hug them always because they know how muchmuse a loves it, even if they insist they hate physical contact because muse b has become an easy exception to that rule. and whenever muse a has bad days muse b will miss all their classes to sit with muse a and help them relax and feel better, and eventually, it becomes a thing that they do even when muse a isn’t having bad days. they sit and cuddle and watch movies and muse a will stare at muse b for minutes on end until muse b says, “What?” andmuse a will always say, “Nothing,” and turn away. it isn’t until months into their friendship that muse b says, “What?” and muse a says, “I love you.”

Man in a Mask 

one person is the heir of an important business or son/daughter of a powerful political figure and they are kidnapped by a man in a mask. but this kidnapper seems against the stereotype for most kidnappers. they are kind and while they are still aggressive they only keep that person for a night and then let them go. turns out that kidnapper works for a group that had been planning the kidnapping for week and had planned to kill the heir, but instead the mystery masked assailant falls in love with them and tries to save them instead, and becomes that person’s guardian angel. anytime there’s a plot to kill or kidnap them, the masked (wo)man is there to save them. 

ideas to explore for this plot: 

• masked man gets caught. does the heir try to help them?
• after the second or third kidnapping, the heir manages to catch the kidnapper unconscious. do they unmask them? tie them up and interrogate them? go through their pockets for clues? 
• the organization catches wind of the masked man’s plans and comes after them to kill them! the masked man goes to the heir for help. what does the heir do?

Adam and Eve

unknown scientists have kidnapped one man and one woman and locked them in a bunker together because of a predicted nuclear catastrophe and they are trying to engineer a man-made Adam and Eve to repopulate the world. After days without contact with the outside world the doors unlock and open and sure enough all of civilization as far as they can tell is destroyed and they are left with just each other and what the scientists put in the bunker with them (i.e. species of animals, a greenhouse, a library with information on building and medicine and agriculture, etc.) 

ideas to explore for this plot: 

• the two don’t speak the same language
• the two quickly realize they hate each other
• ZOMBIES
• could be more than just 2 people. perhaps the scientists tried to create a small colony. (good for rpg possibilities. if used, please credit.)

The Heart of the Revolutionaries

society is split into two divisions of people and they aren’t allowed to interact but two people from each division are revolutionaries and they slip notes to one another about the uprising. one day one of them passes a note to the other on a crowded street and later when read its actually a confession of love.

ideas to explore for this plot: 

• does the other revolutionary love them back?
• what if the government finds out and tries to use one against the other?
• what do the other revolutionaries think of this? or do they try to keep it secret from their comrades?

• get a call from the library that you forgot a bookmark that looks irreplaceable. so you go back and hey it turns out that librarian? shy, smiley and rather cute. hello there
• delivering pizza and its ing raining ugh this - until the door opens and w o w that is a good looking pizza lover right there. instead of just tipping you and closing the door however, they invite you in to play video games/watch a movie. spoiler alert: they think you’re cute too
• younger sibling keeps complaining about some spooky noises coming from their closet or under the bed. As a way of finally getting them to stop whining and crying over imaginary creatures of the night you promise to sit up  during the night in their room. Lo and behold younger sibling wasn’t crazy there actually IS someone coming in under the bed/through the closet at night and they are quite surprised to see you -  just so much to discuss now
• digging around in some old or dead relatives belongings and you find this incredibly painted landscape with a lone figure in it. so pretty so nice you decide to keep it. few days later you realize that person is moving. soon you realize your other pictures/paintings in the house have at least one moving figure - you got yourself a ghost in a painting that jumps to other pictures and gives life to at least one person in the image
• Possessed weapon with one hell of a personality. Traditions and clever rules say that you are now the wielder and guardian of that weapon. the weapon however just loves to cause trouble for you, as in occasionally possess you with demonic energy to go up
• out of curiosity you decide to follow one of those maps on dinner mats at restaurants since it seems to be based somewhat off the city you’re in. go figure you aren’t the only one that thought to do this and you both meet right where X marks the spot. within seconds of meeting you are both nabbed and dragged into an unmarked vehicle where people in suits give you a ing quest

muse a and muse b have been best friends since they were little, and all their life, it’s only been the two of them. they went to the same schools growing up, did everything together, told each other everything, and just never really felt the need to reach out and pull others into their group of friends. muse a, though, always wanted something more. they loved muse b, of course, but they gradually got tired of their routine life, and by the time they hit high school, they were desperate to branch out. so, they started to. muse b is less than pleased at first, but wants more than anything formuse a to be happy, so they go along with it. somehow they both manage to get invited to one of the hottest parties of the year, and there they meet muse c, one of the most popular people in school; of course, muse a falls for them instantly. muse b is a little bothered, but doesn’t think anything of it until they’re forced to kiss muse a in a party game, and they realize that their feelings for muse a are a lot more than just platonic ones. they keep it a secret, though, too afraid that they’ll lose muse a, and from after the party and beyond, they try to pretend like everything’s normal.

at the same time, as time goes on, muse a starts gradually falling more and more formuse c, but what they don’t know is that muse c is actually in love with muse d, one of the most quiet kids in school, because once upon a time they asked muse d out, but were rejected due to their reputation to move through relationships; and because of the rejection, they started pining more and more after muse d, and eventually fell in too deep. to make matters worse, the real reason muse d turned them down wasn’t because of their reputation, but because they’ve been admiring muse b from afar their whole life.

this could be so much fun though, because muse b would be in love with muse a, who’d be in love with muse c, who’d be in love with muse d, who’d be in love with muse b, and there’d be no set endgames and we’d just play it out and let chemistry take the wheel and it’d be full of heartbreak and betrayal and lying and secrets and dammit i just broke my own heart with headcanons for this already.

muse a is this corrupted soul, always drinking too much, getting too high, they can barely function and muse b is basically their saving grace, always coming through in the middle of the night after a drunken phone call asking for a ride home. andmuse b only does this because they’re a good person at heart, but they can’t deny that muse a’s actions actually disgusts them. but they’ve known each other for too long and muse b always promised they’d never let muse a down, because they know they’re the only thing that’s STABLE in their life. and this has become their routine, muse a texting/calling muse b when something goes wrong and muse b coming around to rescue them. there’s not much to their friendship beside that, these days, because muse a doesn’t really acknowledge them otherwise. and muse b just settles with the fact that they’re being used, but they can’t bear to leave muse a alone, knowing that they probably wouldn’t survive without them … but then ONE NIGHT, when muse b is carrying muse a into bed, tucking them in like they usually do and they’re about ready to say goodnight until muse a, who is completely out of their mind intoxicated, mumbles something barely audible that sounds a lot like ‘i love you.’ muse b thinks to brush it off, until muse a continues professing all these FEELINGS like ‘i really ing love you, please, don’t leave me tonight’ and muse b is just STUCK. because muse a is so bad for them but muse b is the only good thing in their life … so they stay.
