It was a cold night and Hwayoung can’t sleep. Everything in the house was quiet that it made her shiver. There’s nothing to be scared of, considering that she was living with demons but whatever, she needs to sleep but she can’t. So her only option was to bring her pillow and herself to Minseok.

Sleep with Minseok, was the only thing in the kid’s mind.

While walking down the hallway to Minseok’s room, she saw Junmyeon leaving the room. When the butler saw the little kid, he asked what Hwayoung was doing in there that late night. “Oh, I was just thinking of sleeping with Minseok!” The butler scratched the back of his neck and smiled at the girl. “But Master Minseok is having his dessert, Lady Hwayoung.”

Hwayoung pouted at Junmyeon as she hugged her pillow tightly. “Is it the lady from before? I want to meet her!” And immediately, before the butler could even say no to Hwayoung, the little kid has already opened the door, revealing the unfamiliar lady seated on MInseok’s lap while Minseok’s face was on the crook of her neck, her blood. It was the first time Hwayoung had seen this view: Minseok blood from a girl. It looked intimate and Minseok really looks like he’s enjoying.

Upon knowing that there’s Hwayoung’s presence inside the room, Minseok withdrew. “Didn’t I tell you to knock, Hwayoung?” He looked at Hwayoung and approached her at the door. Hwayoung was blushing in embarrassment. “W-What are you doing, Minseok?”

“Demons like to human blood, didn’t you know that?”

“If so, then you can take my blood!” Minseok raised an eyebrow at her. “I can’t drink your blood, Hwayoung.” The girl bit her lip as she peeked inside to see what the woman looks like. She was beautiful, really beautiful in her opinion and she could see why Minseok won’t want her blood. “If there’s nothing else, go.”

“I don’t want to.” Hwayoung reached out for his hand but Minseok immediately slapped it away.

“Hwayoung! I came to…day?” Baekhyun looked at Hwayoung who seemed as if he wasn’t heard. She looked so gloomy—just like how Minseok looks at all time. He took a seat right next to Hwayoung but the girl immediately scooted far away from him. “What’s with the look? And why did you sit far away from me?” He chuckled, trying to lift her mood but it was no use. “Minseok said not to be too close to you.” They were quiet for a moment as Baekhyun observed her expressions. She does really look so sad. I wonder wh
