The Hardest Part... is Moving On
After the Rain...Be Happy'Even if I wanted to leave our past behind, I seemed to have forgotten that we are both celebrities and that could only mean it's impossible to not cross paths with each other. Do I have the confidence to face him and another woman in his arms, with a sincere smile, as somebody who has no rights over him? I know, I should've moved on already, but that-is the hardest part of breaking up.'
"Good evening. Sorry I'm late. I'm supposed to meet with PD Won but my recording ended late just now." She panted after saying everything in one breath.
"Oh...Miss Park Gyu Ri. PD Won couldn't make it here today. He asked me to give you this- schedule and information for your radio show. As far as I know, first schedule would start tomorrow night."
"T..thank you." Gyuri couldn't hide the giddiness at hearing the phrase 'your radio show'.
"My radio show." She echoed quietly, and left, skipping her way out of the office like a little girl receiving a new stuffed toy.
Her steps instantly stopped at an unexpected sight, Her smile dissolved and disappeared. Gyuri took a few steps backward and tried to hide behind a decoration plant at the corner, which was almost the same height as her. She saw him, laughing happily. Then she saw a girl. They're both looking very chummy, patting and touching each other. She couldn't see the girl's face from her location though.
'What is he doing here?...........no.way. How could I be so careless? Of course he's here. This is KBS radio's office. So, I won't be able to avoid him anyway.....think positive Gyuri. You're just working at a same radio station, doesn't mean you'd meet him that often.'
Gyuri took another step backward, and tumbled down .
"Ouch" She groaned, angry.
"Oh...hey, Gyuri unnie...." The girl who was with Eunhyuk came running at her and helped her up. Eunhyuk tailed right behind her, without a word. Gyuri felt extremely embarassed, she wished she could've flushed down her face in the toilet bowl, if that's possible.
"Hey...Tiffany....what are you doing here?" 'Why did she call me unnie, it's not like we're that close. Eugh.' Gyuri faked a smile.
"I was just.....hey, what are YOU doing here?"
Gyuri shrugged. "Just came...for a schedule...yeah." She made sure not to make any eye contact with Eunhyuk at any cost, because frankly, he would know she's lying once she looked into his eyes, and would she let that happen?
"Well I better get going. I have to meet somebody..."
"Hey, Gyuri unnie. I heard you're dating now..."
"Oh....well....yeah, sort of." 'Can I just kill her now?'
"We should go on double dates sometime?"
'We??? double dates??? Excuse me....'
"We?" Gyuri tried to sound as innocently blunt as she could.
"Yeah...Eunhyuk oppa, you, me and your boyfriend...It'd be fun. And we won't tell anyone. Promise."
"Okay then.....but I'll have to ask him first. He's a really busy man..."
'I swear he looked slightly shocked for a second there. And I was already regretting talking this crap in front of him. But, there's nothing else I could do. So, he's dating his labelmate now? Yeah, of course, that'd be the proper thing for him to do.'
Once out of the building, Gyuri sighed, and looked up at the sky.
'It was a mistake. Breaking up with him didn't affect him the least.'
"I need a drink. I badly need a drink now."
