'It had been whipped too many times that it had started to adapt. My heart slowly grew paralyzed. It is only your heart that still concerns me.'

"We're here." He peered from his window. The only light present came from the street lamps and the hospital's back entrance. It was still early morning and dark. There weren't any sign of reporters, not that he could see from the driver's seat.
"Kwanghee, can you help to check whether it's safe for Gyuri sunbaenim to get passed the entry without any disturbance?" For some reason, he still felt worried that what he saw wasn't the entire truth. At the same time, he was scared of being seen with her again. One crazy decision was enough. How could he be so stupid and followed his heart without even thinking with some sense? How could he just lied to himself that he actually believed nobody would be able to recognize him under his disguise. The risk was too big and he actually took it, causing her all the pain and burden she had to bear now. He couldn't take anymore risk of hurting her. He couldn't bear anymore pain of seeing her in pain. Kwanghee gave him an incredulous look to hear his request, long enough for Gyuri to break the uncomfortable silence. "It's...it's okay. I can go in. You two can leave now. Thank you so much for letting me stay for the night, Kwanghee, you're a good cook. Well, okay, still can be improved." She grinned cheekily at him as he lightly slapped her shoulder in response. They were close enough to be comfortable and playful around each other from his guestings in Gyuri's radio show when she was still DJing with Shindong a year ago. Siwan avoided from watching their display of closeness, it still made him jealous even though he knew Kwanghee wasn't the one he should feel jealous of. It's Eunhyuk. Yet, he still couldn't help wishing she would treat him like she would treat Kwanghee, at the least. "..and thank you Siwan ssi. For everything." He only gave a curt nod, unable to express more of what he actually felt, as she stepped out of the car, signalling them to quickly leave. Gyuri's steps felt heavy. Kwanghee was right, she felt feverish and her body temperature was high. She needed rest, but she needed to see Eunhyuk even more. She made her first stop at the information counter. "Excuse me.....umm, may I know the which room is err,...Lee Hyukjae located?" She tried to cover her face with the shades she wore and also covering half her face with her palm, not the best way to avoid attention. But she didn't think much of it. "Lee Hyukjae as in....Super Junior's Eunh......ommo, you're Park Gyuri!" The nurse's eyes widened in surprise as Gyuri tried hard to shush her from further drawing attention to herself. The nurse eventually calmed down and even offered to walk her to the room. "It's okay. Just tell me the room number, thank you." She gave her best smile, hoping she didn't appear too awkward. When she reached the room, she was greeted by Sungmin who was waiting outside the room. His eyes were red, and the look on his face told her he wasn't just surprised to see her there. "Sungmin oppa, are you alright?" "Don't worry about me. Eunhyuk's fine...but how did you manage to be here?" She shrugged, not knowing how to answer him. "Oppa, you look like you need some rest. I'm just here for a short while." He nodded but stopped her from entering the room. "Maybe....it wasn't a good idea to go in now." She frowned, knowing he's obviously hiding something from her. Then she found the answer. The door to his VIP room flung open and Heechul came out. He was wearing sunglasses but she could feel anger from his eyes. She bowed at him. "What are you doing here? To hurt and confuse Hyukjae even more? Make up your mind seriously. Stop torturing him!" He snapped at her, and Gyuri could only hang her head down in shame and guilt. Sungmin held him back from continuing to flare at her while motioning for her to go inside the room. She fe
