*Donghae's POV*

"Come on darling! You promised mummy last night. Quick, say goodbye to your daddy now!"

Sunny urged and pulled her from behind gently.

Sarah stood beside her with her head lying low, biting her lips.

"I'm sorry Sarah...."

I squatted down to her eye level before cupping her right cheek in my hand.

Somehow, I missed her laughter a lot.

Can I still touch my daughter in future like this?

I did not have an answer to my own question.

"I am really sorry.....I really am......Sarah. I guess you must be very disappointed in ap-pa huh? "

I picked her hand and apologized repeatedly.

Seriously, I did not know what I could say to her except this word at the moment.

"No. Sarah still loves ap-pa the most."

She stated faintly and hugged me unexpectedly.

"Sarah..... "

I called out in surprise.

"Mummy says Auntie Yoona's baby is still young. It needs it's ap-pa to take care of it. But Sarah is a big girl now. I can take care of myself."

She added on but each and every word of her just made my heart ached further.

How could a four year old child be this kind and understanding to a failure father like me?

"Thanks Sarah. And thank you Sunny. You did a great job in bringing up our baby."

I looked at Sunny gratefully before I embraced Sarah tightly.

*Sunhee's POV*

"Can you promise me one last thing, ap-pa?"

I heard Sarah asking just before I was about to open the cab's door which had been waiting.

"Anything for you...."

Donghae smiled at her sadly and took her hands in his.

"Can you don't forget Sarah?"

She asked hopefully.

The question is such a naive one but it never fail to touch me greatly.

I could see Donghae felt the same way too as his eyes had already reddened by this time.

"Never. Ap-pa will never forget my Sarah. You will always be my no. 1 princess, alright?"

He said seriously and pulled her into another embrace.

"Please do not forget me too, Sarah. Ap-pa loves you. Please remember that I love you alot."

Donghae added on beside her ears before I saw tears rolling down his cheeks.

I turned around to get into the cab to hide my falling tears as well.

"It's about time darling. Come on up."

I knew it was harsh to break the father and daughter's moment but then, I did not have a choice.

"Take care, Sunny."

He said after placing Sarah on the empty seat beside me.

I simply nodded as one more look at him might cause the tears I had been holding back to fall in front of him.

"Bye, ap-pa."

Sarah waved to him before he closed the door at last.

*One month later*

*Donghae's POV*

I was doing some groceries shopping with Yoona before I came to the ice-cream section.

I picked up a strawberry tub and stared at it unknowingly.

It was Sarah's favourite brand and I could never forget the way her eyes would light up whenever I buy this home.

I wondered what she was doing right now.

Did she miss me as much as I miss her every day?

"A penny for your thoughts, Hae?."

Yoona hugged me from behind and I put the tub back into the freezer at once.

"Nothing. I am done. Shall we make a move now?"

I forced out a smile and asked her.

Nodding her head, we made our way to the cashier.

"Oh Hae, I forgotton to buy some stuff. Can you carry these back to the car first?."

Yoona stopped her foot when we were halfway to the car park.

"What thing? I will go and get it for you."

I offered at once.

"Nah! I will be quick. See you later!."

She kissed my cheek and turned back quickly.

Shaking my head,  I carried the things to our car.

Before I started the engine, I realized that her handbag is with me.

And that only means that she did not carry any cash with her.

"That girl!"

I chuckled before I made my way back to the supermarket for her.

I was searching everywhere but there was no sight of Yoona before I stopped at the last section.

*Donghae's POV*

"What are you doing here?"

I asked when she was busy selecting the sanitary pads on the shelves.

"Why are you here, Hae?"

She asked me instead and I could see that she was all flustered up.

"You do not need these now that you are pregnant, isn't it?"

I probed curiously.

"Oh....this...this is not for me....I am buying for my girlfriend...."

She touched her hair nervously without looking at me.

"Really? Who is this friend of yours? Do I know her?"

I walked up to her and probed further.

"You don't know her Hae..."

She replied faintly.

"Tell me honestly Im Yoona! Are you really carrying my baby?"

I asked seriously.

"Of course I am, Hae."

She replied at once and took my hand.

"Fine. Let's go for a check-up now."

I insisted and pulled her along with me.

"No......Hae....I.....I...lied to you!"

She stopped me before I turned around unbelievingly.
