I unlocked the door. 

"You're late." "My shoot didn't go as planned." I passed by him. "Wait." He pushed me against his chest and wrapped his arms around me. 

"Welcome home." He said softly. I hit him. "You should be like this more often..." 

He kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry I haven't been home." 

I hung my jacket and scarf. "You're only doing this for a reason." He put the magazine down. "I just don't want you to assume anything."

The only thing that hurt me was seeing them in public.
