Drabble 4 // Our, My Struggle

     Jimin chuckled as I laughed loudly by his ear, my breath brushing across his neck. As I tilted my head to the side I could see his eye smile, it was so natural, so comfortable, so beautiful. My arms were around his chest sealing his arms in between, and he was probably laughing because he felt ticklish. Either way, I loved it.

Then I slid my arms down to his waist and that was when I felt him freeze momentarily. With a sign of panic his trembling fingers grabbed my wrist and yanked it away as he spun away from my hold, and that was when I knew I had gone too far. His eyes wandered uneasily as horrific memories ran through his mind. His breathing became fast like he was having an asthma attack and his lips were unable to relax.

"T-Taehyung... I... I didn't..." 

Watching him struggle to speak, and even seeing him trying to apologise for something that wasn't his fault; watching his face in conflict compressed my heart, and nothing could compare to how much I wanted him to know that it wasn't his fault, that I don't mind and that I was patient. The way he tried his best to not be weak, the way he glanced at me with those scarred eyes like he was afraid I was judging him, they all saddened me to the extreme. 

I stepped closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him into my embrace where there was no distance between our chests. I needed him to know. I needed him to understand that I loved him no matter what, and his role of victim in his sad past only makes me want to care for him more. But most of all, I needed him to be okay. 

I murmured inaudible words into his hair and held him close, tight. He finally responded and wrapped his arms around me to lock his fingers by my back. I sighed in relief. 

"I'm sorry, Jimin. I'll be more careful next time. I didn't mean to make you remember those times. Just don't push me away from you when need comforting, when you need a hug. Okay?"

I felt him breathing by my chest, his every exhale sending tingling air down one side of my shirt. He eventually nodded. 

"Thankyou, Tae."

Author's Note // Sorry if this was bad, I just had this come to me as I was in the car on the way home, only thing was it was Taehyung with a female OC lol then I was like 'No, I wrote , !" so here it is in the guyXguy vers. haha :). (p.s. 4's a number i really like so I always try to make chapter 4's overly fluffy and romantic so I hope this change was alright. :) Thanks for all the comments and love so far!
