It's fate's fault
Vmin Drabble CollectionDrabble 17 // It's fate's fault (Note: this chapter can be a bit gruesome, just a warning, if you don't like too much bloody stuff, you probably shouldn't read it)
"I'm so sorry." V panted, hand shaking, body trembling, words leaving his lips with so much struggle, agitation, devastation. "I'm so sorry, Jimin. I'll make it up to you, I promise."
Jimin grunted lowly, oxygen escaping his mouth like a deflating balloon. He wrapped his dry fingers around V's and felt leaking blood flow onto their skin and drip onto the ground, like it wouldn't stop; the pain on V's face was excruciating, like the guilt would swallow him alive any minute. "It's okay, we have nine lives between us, right? Losing one from you isn't so bad..." Jimin's head hung lower and he glanced down at the knife still in his abdomen. "I just didn't expect it to hurt this much." He panted, legs wobbling, struggling to stay standing.
He tightened his grip around V's hand, the latter's grip around the knife head.
"Jimin-ah...I'm so sorry." V whimpered, tears streaming from his eyes. Jimin managed a small smile and reached up to the younger's cheek, a broken moan leaving his lips before he collapsed down into V's quick arms, eyes rolling back and blood seeping from the edge of his mouth. V ached everywhere, the sight was so overwhelming. He released his grip around the knife and Jimin's breath faltered, sinking even lower into V's arms as energy left him like a broken pipe losing water. V continued to mumble inaudible words as he tried to Jimin's hair, tried to comfort him, tried to recompose himself.
Jimin did his best to lock eyes with V. "Hey, don't be like this. I'll come back to life soon, you know where to come find me."
"I know but- it still hurts. I never wanted to have to kill you, I'm so sorry Jimin. I'm so sorry." V lowered down and hugged the elder, accidently bumping the knife still portruding. Jimin groaned painfully and squeezed his hand around V's shirt, simultaneously pinching some of the younger's skin roughly. V winced and apologised once again, pulling away to glance over Jimin's suffering complexion.
"Jimin, I don't want you to go, but- to ease the pain- maybe-"
"V...I'm fine. It'll be over soon anyway, I just...want you...to calm down... How are you going to come find me like this..."
V slapped Jimin's shoulder. "You idiot! You're the one dying and you're still caring about me?! Stop it, shut up! I know how to take care of myself."
"Then stop crying."
The glare in V's eyes deepened and he stopped immediately. "I'll see you soon, Jimin. Don't worry, and forgive me."
"What? Wh-" Jimin's words were cut short as V suddenly took hold of the knife again and plunged it in deeper, pushing the knife down as low as it could go, the elder's breath hitching before no more sound echoed from him. V waited a few seconds before reaching over and closing Jimin's eyes, then standing up to glance over the corpse.
"Sorry, hyung. See you soon." He said lowly before speeding off.

Author's Note // I'm sorry the plot doesn't really make sense, you can add in the starts and continues yourself as you like. First fantasy drabble: pretty much the two of them have 9 lives between them, and for whatever reason, V had to sacrifice one of Jimin's lives.
I accidently wrote this chapter in chapter's 15's edit page so I lost that chapter D: (the alternate short sad ending to 'People you shouldn't fall for." so it's sad but I don't think I can get it back now. *cries*
