Drabble 11 // Iced Tea

     Jimin unscrewed the lid of his cool drink and brang it to his lips, only barely gulping down one large sip before a shove from behind sent him stumbling forward, and his raspberry iced tea falling from his grip. As he let out a soft yelp, fingers quickly wrapped around his elbow and pulled him back to his feet. He turned around and met eyes with a boy of shining silvery-purple hair whose eyes and body screamed out 'EMERGENCY'. The boy dropped down low and jerked Jimin down with him, one hand over his mouth as he hushed him, keeping a sharp eye on the tapping of black leather shoes not far away. Jimin blinked as curiosity bubbled in him. He carefully turned his head to the side and looked at the stranger's side from up close, unable to tear his eyes away. His eyes travelled down to the stitched letters on the boy's checked shirt.

"Initials maybe?" 

Twenty seconds passed too fast for Jimin as the boy let go and they both rose to their feet. 

"Sorry about that, thanks for your help." The boy gave him a smile before an "uhh..." left his mouth when he looked at the iced-tea-stained shirt hanging on the lowest rack. Jimin followed his line of sight and gasped, eyes widening because "we are in deep trouble". 

The stranger bit his lower lip for a brief moment before he pulled out his wallet and took some money out. "Don't worry; my fault, I'll pay for it." But as he walked over to grab the shirt, a familiar herd of footsteps rang in his ears. He slammed the money in Jimin's hand. "Sorry, I have to go! The shirt's yours!" 

Just as the boy was about to disappear from Jimin's view, he called out to him. "Wait! Meet me at the park outside the shopping centre in an hour. I'll wait for you there." 

Jimin waited as promised, though he wondered if the boy would really come. First of all, he doesn't really have a reason to, and second, he might still be held up by the men who were chasing him. Either way, doubt was beginning to fill Jimin as he unconsciously shook his head and told himself how stupid he was. 

"Hey! Have you been waiting long?" The boy from earlier arrived, shooting Jimin a friendly smile as he panted. He looked like he'd been chased for eternity. 

"Are you okay?" 

"Yeah, I'm good. I've lost them for tonight. They're too tired to chase anymore, haha." 

Jimin found himself grinning idiotically at the stranger's chuckle. 

"Oh! I'm Kim Taehyung by the way. You are...?"

"Jimin. Park Jimin." So they were intials. 

"Jimin." Taehyung smiled, "Jimin. Jiminnie. Minnie. Your name is adorable." 

Jimin blushed, and if Taehyung held the iced-tea-stained shirt next to his face, he would have noticed the similarity in shade.

Author's Note // I was walking through a shop and thought about how much trouble I would be in if I spilt the iced tea I was drinking onto the racks of clothes, and inspiration came from there. :) Oh my god this was so bad I don't even know....I'm so sorry for such a crappy chapter. I'll try to make the next one better. Also, to those who read my 'C&A' vmin fanfic, I'm trying to update that soon. :)
