Drabble 24 // The next breath can wait 

     "Jimin, let's go." Taehyung slips his hand into the shorter's and tugs lightly. The latter blinks up at him, blushing slightly at the close distance of Taehyung's left shoulder in front of his face; if the boy were to turn his head, their noses would almost touch. "Where?" 

"Just somewhere. Don't worry, we'll be quick." Taehyung reassures quietly and Jimin gives one last look at the members and staff before following Taehyung. They walk into a bright field of high grass and faint pink flowers, and Taehyung leads Jimin into the middle where the endless patches of green cover to just under their waists. Jimin smiles brightly admiring the view, while Taehyung smiles warmly enjoying his time with Jimin. There are butterflies flying by in pairs - it's Spring and the blossoming of flowers makes this the best place for lovers. Sweetness would be the name for the aroma surrounding them as Taehyung takes hold of Jimin's cheek and leans down to kiss him, all eyes closed as lips touch passionately on this beautiful day. 

Jimin can feel the two of them smiling into the kiss and as much as his heart is rapidly pounding in his chest he gently pushes Taehyung away to regain oxygen. The taller frowns slightly. "What's wrong?"

Jimin shakes his head, "Nothing. I just need to breathe..." and lowers his embarassed face awkwardly. Taehyung tsks. "Geez, ruining the moment to satisfy your lungs." 

Jimin gives him a small glare. "Hey! Don't you need to breathe too?" Taehyung shrugs and steps closer, "For you, the next breath can wait", capturing Jimin's lips again in an instant. The latter's eyes are wide for a moment where he contemplates slapping the boy in front of him, but helplessly giving in is the only possibility for Jimin because damn Taehyung is a great kisser. He finds himself smiling like an idiot again, all the way back to where they first sneaked away, Taehyung's hand still holding onto his own securely, his head leaning on Taehyung's shoulder, it was all really nice. He glances up at the younger. "Tae?"

The boy hums in response. 

"Can you kiss me one more time?"
