Drabble 30 // Promise

     Taehyung played around with his ring, grinning widely at it. Jimin thought he'd be done with all the admiring after five days since the proposal, but no...the latter loved looking at it from all different angles, never putting it down until Jimin slipped in to bed beside him, then he'd gently place it down on the drawer and turn back to hug his favourite person to sleep. 

"Jimin, when we get married, let's go travel the world." 

Jimin smiled and slid an arm under Taehyung's neck to his hair from the other side with fingers curling up and down fondly. "Sure Tae. Let's go to the warm beaches in Hawaii, the massive mountains in China, maybe climb the Eiffel Tower in France, and go breathe some fresh air in Australia. What do you think?" 

"And! And let's go to the zoos in all those countries and see animals like Cheetahs and Kangaroos!" Taehyung exclaimed, eyes lighting up so brightly. Jimin chuckled and leaned down to kiss the younger's nose sweetly, his fiance sinking in to the contact with shut eyes. He looked adorable in Jimin's eyes. 

"When we return to Korea, let's buy a house, somewhere near the countryside so you can visit your farm animals whenever you want. Then from time to time, we'll drive into the city and meet up with the others to hang out. How does that sound?" He glanced over at Taehyung to see the younger's eyes shimmering with joy, a simple nod signalling for him to continue. He his side and motioned for Taehyung to do the same, the two facing each other with foreheads so close their every inhale and exhale became much more audible. 

"And on long days, we'll head home together. You'll turn on the TV to watch the news and I'll be in the kitchen making dinner, or if we get lazy, we'll order take out and just lie around on the couches until the food arrives. Then we'll clean up: I'll wash the dishes while you sweep the table and floor. And when night comes, I'll lead you to bed, we'll get comfy in each other's arms and fall asleep after wet kisses and cheesy stories. Then we'll wake up the following morning to start the next day, hand in hand." 

"Jiminie, stop! You'll make me cry." Taehyung whimpered, making Jimin giggle lightly as he reached over to cup the boy's face in his hands. "You're already crying, crybaby." He brought Taehyung closer and hugged him, the younger's arms finding their way around his torso to hold him tight. 

"Jimin?" Taehyung's voice was muffled, but it was soft, gentle, fragile with hints of courage. Jimin hummed for Taehyung to continue. 

"I look forward to it. All of it."
