Drabble 21 // Facade Part 2 (it's not very good, i'm sorry)

     Jimin strolls down the street lightly with a playful smirk at the corner of his lips. Ha! Mission success! Got the files and the idiot didn’t suspect a thing.He slides his hands into his pockets and pauses when he realises something’s missing. “W-what? Where’s the…” His eyes suddenly fire up with anger as he turns and runs back towards Taehyung’s house.

He burst through the unlocked door panting and freezes when he sees Taehyung snoozing on the couch, resting the side of his face on his arm, a USB twirled in his fingers. Jimin bites his lip and creeps over silently, trying to pry the USB chain out of the younger’s fingers when suddenly Taehyung lunges up at him and traps him in a tight head lock.

“You chose the wrong gang member to mess with, Park Jimin, but I give your leader credit for trying his luck. He was pretty smart to use you as bait to get inside info, I almost let you go.”

“So…you knew? How?”

“Park Jimin, new member of our rival gang, joined about a month ago, said to be cute with a baby face so adorable you might not be convinced of his identity at first. The description matched you pretty well. Also, I heard you searching throughout the house this morning, and lastly, you don’t even have a mobile on you. I checked yesterday when I helped you up. And if you’re wondering, I didn’t look at what’s in the USB either.”

Jimin shoots him a surprised look. Taehyung smirks. “Now be a good pretty boy and give me back what you stole. You should probably know that sneaking information about your opponent’s weakness is a very low thing to do.”

Jimin lowers his head. “Dammit, I thought I had you.”

“Sometimes people just don’t know what they’re in for, Jimin. I’ll give you two options: one, you return the files and I beat you up right here, right now, or, two, you return the files and join my gang.”

“Or you let me go and we fight. The winner gets to keep the files.”

Taehyung raises an amused eyebrow. “You’re quite the determined type, our gang could use someone like you. But really, looking at your face, no one would believe you were in a gang.”

“Yeah, well same goes for you flower boy.” Jimin mocks, but it only intrigues Taehyung further.

“Let’s make an alliance. A secret gang. Just you and me.” He releases Jimin and the other glances up at him innocently. Taehyung reaches an empty palm out, waiting for a hand shake. Jimin glances down and giving Taehyung a surprised look, raises his hand slowly.

“Kim Taehyung?”

Taehyung murmurs in response.

“You’re an idiot.”

“What?”

Jimin grins and flashes the USB swinging in his fingers before dashing out of the house with the files still hidden under his jumper. Yup, the idiot didn’t suspect a thing.  

Taehyung glances at his open door and chuckles. Ah, I seriously wonder how long we’ll be doing this for, he thinks, pulling out a keychain with the letters JM marked on the design.
