Drabble 16 // People you shouldn't fall for. (Original ver.) [Ending] 

     Taehyung marks the cafe they first met at as a magical place, and when Jimin arrives shortly, there's two cool drinks of the same type sitting on the table. Cute blonde boy still looks good as ever and Jimin takes a sip of the icy drink, suddenly wincing at how bad it tasted. Taehyung chuckled. "You don't like it, right?" 

Jimin shook his head. "N-no, it's just-"

"It's fine. I hate it too."

"... What?" 

"I only buy it because...I have bad taste." Jimin almost wants to fall off his chair at that lame explanation, but Taehyung suddenly giggles and he feels the butterflies returning. 

"As in I always pick the wrong people. I always choose to date those who only want me for my popularity, to be known as 'cool' next to me." He picks up his drink and stares at it seriously. "Is it because of you, little boy?"

Jimin raises an eyebrow and can't help but want to laugh because cute blonde boy was talking to a bubble tea. "You're so weird" he comments, and Taehyung grins widely. He grins back and Taehyung knows that the smile before his eyes is sincere and true. 

But a sneaky hand sweeps past their table and Taehyung disappears out of the cafe after a man. Jimin blinks in shock for two seconds before he looks down at the table and gasps. "My wallet!" He follows out of the shop and panics for a good two minutes before Taehyung returns.

"Here." He pants while holding out Jimin's wallet, but the elder grabs onto both of his arms instead. "You idiot! You didn't have to do that just for some money. What if you got hit by a car or fell over and hurt yourself?" He listens with a warm smile as Jimin rubs a hand over his sweaty face. "Well, if that happened, the money in your wallet wouldn't be enough to cover for the medical costs." He tests again, and Jimin looks annoyed. "I told you to not care about the money! I'll just sell things I don't need, or go get another job to pay for it. You- you're such an idiot." Jimin grunted lowly before walking away. But Taehyung's grinning wildly because for once, he's friends with someone who cares for him most over things like money. He chases Jimin down the street while apologising, screaming "sorry I made you drink disgusting tea" and "how about you treat me to some good bubble tea since I saved your wallet", and luckily, the last line gets Jimin stopping.

Taehyung smiles because Jimin is really kind and Jimin's shaking his head because I'm not sure how I fell for such a cute weirdo.

Author's Note // So this is the happy ending version. It's more like their 'second meeting' after the first, and the original ending was way different to this: originally it was going to be about how Jimin was still worried that he wasn't good enough for someone like Tae, and later on he actually tries going with Jeongkook, but in the end Taehyung convinces him that he's perfect. But I wrote the above instead. Maybe I'll do another drabble on the original ending version :)
It's not meant to make anyone feel sensitive or too self concious btw coz it's not really a good thing to be too worried about yourself or have low self esteem since really, you're the only one not benefitting. So don't worry you guys, learn to be more confident and wear a comfortable smile because you can be perfect just by being you. :) That's all for now. Take care.
