Drabble 1 // Cosset

     “I’m just not really used to people hugging me is all,” Jimin confessed quietly, trying to calm himself as he leaned back into Taehyung’s chest. He hadn’t rested in someone else’s arms for a long time now; it seemed almost surreal for him to have someone beside him in the first place.

The younger breathed slowly, directing Jimin in the soothing process as all he wanted was to treasure this peaceful moment. He gentled squeezed around Jimin’s waist and snuggled his nose and cheek by the shorter’s soft neck, feeling heat brush between them gracefully.

Slowly, Jimin put his hand over Taehyung’s and turned his head to give him a sweet smile, one that told the orange-haired he was totally fine with the way he held him, because he felt safe. Taehyung smiled back, loving the way Jimin’s eyes and lips curved to express his internal happiness. They gazed at one another and by simply looking into each other’s eyes, they could see what they mutually wanted. 

Taehyung leaned in first. He raised his head gradually and Jimin followed along. Their lips pressed together gently and ever so carefully, like they wanted to hold themselves back from ruining the loving silence. Taehyung’s hand came to Jimin’s neck and the elder slipped his arm under and over Taehyung’s shoulder. The kiss broke within seven seconds, and they broke away smiling.

“I think…I might be falling for you.”

Taehyung grinned; Jimin’s voice was so soft and fragile.

“Well I beat you to that.”

Jimin shook his head, “No, I started falling a lot earlier. I think…I just didn’t know I was falling until-“ he raised his head and locked eyes with Taehyung, “-until you caught me.”

They smiled and their lips met again. Taehyung tapped his fingers along Jimin’s skin playfully, “And I thought I was the cheesy one.”
