Yesung was waiting at the room under the blanket. He was waiting for Sungmin to pick him up. He was crying miserably when he knew he was the one who decided to give up. He had no more strength to convince Ryeowook cause he didn’t want Ryeowook to do something under pressure. Yesung loved to let Ryeowook go to find what he was looking for, even Yesung quietly sure that he was the one Ryeowook longed to find. Ryeowook just didn’t notice about it.

Yesung looked at the room, the curtains hovered by the power of the air conditioner. Yesung set the temperature at the lowest and let the wind blows at the biggest way. His gaze fell to the fruit on the table. The red apples were tempting everyone who looked at them. The oranges were so fresh to make the throats not thirsty again. But they weren’t the one Yesung had interest into. A blade beside those fruits was the one Yesung had in mind.

Yesung moved his legs out of the blanket. His mind went blank as the hand took the knife and pulled it closer to his chest. The tears still ran out from his eagle black eyes even no sound accompanied them. He walked slowly back to the bed with his right leg as the pedestal of his body. He looked at the knife before lifted his jeans to his knee. Then he sliced his right leg, where the old wounds’ scars still there, and he watched his blood with tears in his eyes.

Yesung was really in pain physically and mentally.

The door opened. Sungmin screamed as soon as he saw the nightmare happened before him.

“YESUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNG!!! What the are you doing? Damn it! Why you did this again? Why? Huh?” Sungmin yelled before he slapped Yesung on the face and took the knife from Yesung's hand.

Yesung fell on his left side without a sound. The sting on his face didn’t feel hurt anymore for Yesung. His heart was more in pain. He was tired from his life. Tears fell out again and now his sob was heard.

“You promise me not to do this again. YOU PROMISE ME, YESUNG!! Why? Why? Ryeowook? Is this because of him? HUUUUUH?” Sungmin yelled again.

Yesung still fell, drenched with tears without a sound.

“He doesn’t want you, Yesung! HE DOESN’T WANT YOU!!!! HOW MANY TIMES I SHOULD TELL YOU ABOUT THIS? you, Yesung! You’re ruining your life for someone who doesn’t even want you on his life! Damn you, Yesung!” another yell came from Sungmin and he pulled Yesung to sat down properly on the bed.

Yesung looked at Sungmin with his teary eyes. His face looked so pale when he saw Sungmin’s hands bandaged the wound. Yesung couldn’t stop the tears that ran out from his eyes. His shaking hands moved slowly to reach Sungmin’s, made Sungmin looked up.

“I’m so sorry… I would never do this again. Please forgive me, Sungmin…”

Sungmin smiled half heartedly, took his hand to Yesung’s cheeks and rubbed them softly.

“It’s okay… just please…… don’t hurt yourself anymore… I can’t see you desperate like this. My heart pains…”

Yesung tried to smile but failed at his first try.

“I promise… please… please don’t leave me… I don’t wanna be alone anymore…”

Sungmin took Yesung’s hands and held them inside his palms.

“I would never leave you, Yesung. But…… promise me! You’ll have your new life right after this! Forget about Ryeowook! He’s moving on! You should do the same! PROMISE ME! Yesung, PROMISE ME!”

Yesung looked up and nodded.

“I promise, Sungmin-ah. I’d leave everything here and I won’t bring any of Ryeowook with me back to Seoul…”

Sungmin smiled then stood up.

“Come on! Let’s go back to Seoul! People are waiting for you to comeback and kick some !” Sungmin said while pulled Yesung’s hand to stand up.

They were ready to go back to Seoul.

Ryeowook passed his Thursday miserably cause he wasn’t like he used to be. He didn’t greet anyone he passed or welcomed his patients with his warm smiles. He was lost to the world and the war he created. He couldn’t stop blaming himself for being so cocky and acted like he didn’t need Yesung, even he knew the one who can made him calm was Yesung. He was regretting everything.

Kyuhyun didn’t brave enough to disturb Ryeowook right after Ryeowook yelled at him and for a thousand times he rejected by the one he thought had the same feeling to him. All this time Ryeowook didn’t want him but only for a friendship. He thought Ryeowook would ready to accept someone new after being left out by Yesung. Even since highschool they never talked to each others but Kyuhyun knew everything that happened to Ryeowook.

Ryeowook sighed deeply when he saw a clock on the wall.

“Why time goes too slow today? [sighed] God, help me…”

He looked at the door when he heard it opened. He smiled when he saw his friend got closer and sat in front of him.

“Am I disturbing something?” Nicky asked with worry expression.

Ryeowook shook his head weakly but his eyes showed tears ran out like a fountain.

“I crashed everything, Nicky… I crashed everything. I throw away what already I held in my hands. I’m confused. I don’t know what to do… I don’t know who to talk about this…” he added with sobbing once in a while.

“Talk to me! Even I didn’t know much about love, maybe I can give you advices from what I’ve heard and learned in my life… talk to me…”

Ryeowook sighed deeply, paused for seconds before he started to talk.

“I… I… I acted fool to Jongwoon. Kyuhyun came to my house and he saw us in front of the TV, joked around. He said something which awaken another side of me who fell asleep while Jongwoon around. [sobbed] I… suddenly woke and chased Kyuhyun but he was freaked out, told me things I had forgotten when I was with Jongwoon. I said terrible things to Jongwoon after that. Yesterday morning, he was trying to do sweet things that seemed weird for me but I neglected him. I even didn’t give any credit to his efforts, gosh… [wiped the tears] and I just walked away even he gave me a hug. A last one, I think… [started to cry again] I lost him, Nicky… when I was at home, he wasn’t there but two letters and his crutches…”

Nicky sighed and fixed herself on a chair.

“So, you screwed everything? [Ryeowook nodded] and what do you want now? You look miserable…”

Ryeowook stared the book on his table, shook his head on his folded hands.

“I don’t know… I can’t think straight right now. Today, I’m just taking one or two patients. I can’t think, Nicky… I can’t think…”

Nicky tapped Ryeowook’s right arm.

“Ryeowook, why don’t you ask your heart? Don’t you feel exhausted having wars with your heart and pride? It’s been 10 years, Ryeowook. You said, he fought for you. Now, why don’t you fight for him and for yourself?”

“I’m afraid, Nicky… I’m afraid…”

“Afraid of what?”

“He would leave me again… after I give my heart again… [sighed] I’m afraid…”

Nicky didn’t reply for some seconds before she let a deep sigh.

“He did so much for you for the last ten years, right? [Ryeowook nodded again] do you think, he’ll let you go once he has you in his arms?”

Ryeowook stared at Nicky, woke up from his folded arms. For a minute or so, he didn’t make any replies. Nicky rose up from where she sat, lifted her hands to Ryeowook’s chin.

“Think about what I ask you a minute ago. Ask yourself first… because that’s what I did when I have to face you here, Ryeowook.”

“Huh, what do you mean?”

“You said no to me, right? I was angry because you didn’t give me any explanation. But I have to face you here everyday… I hated you once… then I kept telling to my heart that you’re not the one for me. I kept doing it for everyday… till I know the truth…”

Ryeowook’s tears ran out again, held Nicky’s hands, he was shaking.

“I’m so sorry, Nicky. I really am sorry about it…” he said while crying inside Nicky’s hug, after Nicky leaned forward.

The door opened…

Heechul came in. he stopped for a while when he saw what happened before him, then he smiled.

“Hey…”

Nicky smiled and replied, “Hi…”

She didn’t let go her hug from Ryeowook even doctor Hee was in front of her.

“Sweetheart, I have a meeting at Chuncheon and maybe I can’t go home right on time. Will you be okay by yourself at home?” Heechul said, still with smile on his face.

This time Nicky released Ryeowook from her hug and she went closer to Heechul. She hugged him before Heechul left a kiss on her forehead.

“I’ll be fine, baby. Just go and drive carefully, okay?”

Heechul nodded and smile. “Do you want me to buy something for you?”

“Just comeback safely. That’s what I need…”
