"Painful Memory"

It seems like everything slowed down for her, but then someone hugs her from behind, enveloping his long arms around her small figure and falling on the ground and that person makes sure that he’ll land on the ground first before her making him groan in pain.

Hana takes a deep breath then opens her eyes and her body still feels a bit shaky after her near death experience. Her eyes lands on Jaewook with his face contorting in pain. “Are you alright?” She turns to look at him. “Let’s go to the hospital! Are you hurt somewhere? Wait, I’ll call the ambulance.” She quickly takes her phone out of her pocket with shaky hands when he holds her hand and gives it a warm and firm squeeze.

“I’m okay. It’s just a scratch.” He chuckles it off and she examines his arms and his forehead. He had a bruise and blood rolled down his cheek down to his chin.

“Y-You’re hurt—“ She takes out her handkerchief then places it firmly where the blood is coming from while she’s between his legs. “What the hell are you thinking?” she looks straight into his eyes and she was taken aback at the way he looks at her. “Let’s go to the hospital.”

Jaewook takes a hold of her wrist. “I told you I’m fine. Please don’t call anyone or bring me anywhere.” He stands up before holding the handkerchief to cover his bruise.

“No, we’re going to the hospital.”  Hana sternly says with a frown while she pulls Jaewook by his wrist and walks to the nearest hospital and chuckles in disbelief as she follows Hana who is dragging him.

As Jaewook is getting treated at the emergency room, Hana just sits at the corner.

“What the hell happened to you, Jaewook? If your father discovers this, he’s going to—“

“I know, I know. He wouldn’t know if you won’t tell him, right?” Jaewook threatens while gazing
