“Chaeyoung?” Kris stared heatedly at the girl standing in the centre of the lounge, smiling at him.   “Kris.” She nodded.   Tao’s eyes widened in profound disbelief.    His body shook and he refused to look at her. *This isn’t real. I’m hallucinating.* He squeezed his eyes shut.   “Tao?” Her voice sent his mind into a wild bundle of conflict. He sincerely believed that his mind was being cruel, exposing his weaknesses unto him so he’d just fall into insanity. This had to be another of his nightmares and hallucinations of where Chaeyoung would appear before leaving him completely shattered and heart-wrecked, begging desperately for her to return, even if she was just a punishing illusion his mind mastered up.   Kris too couldn’t find himself to believe that it really was her in front of them.   She looked exactly the same.   Her thick, red hair paired with golden eyes. She had a considerably ideal height and pink lips too. She was adorned in a loose white dress, the ends of it stitched with gold string. Her hair was plaited to one side and her lips were pulled up to form a timid smile.   Tao could no longer close his eyes. He opened them to see that the figure was still present in the room, watching him curiously as tears gathered in her golden spheres. As she took a step towards him, Tao flinched backwards before he ran away.    He couldn’t handle the cruel illusions his mind was conjuring.   Chaeyoung was surprised by Tao’s escape. She looked over to Kris whose expression drained of colour. She watched as he swallowed hard before he followed Tao’s action, and ran.   “Kris.” She whispered sadly seeing his tallness disappear behind a corner.   “What’s wrong with them?” Chen asked no one in particular. He and the other nobles were oblivious to the situation. All they could do was stare dumbly and wish for things to be explained to them.   -=-=-=-=-=-=-=   Since Tao and Kris never returned that afternoon, Chaeyoung had stayed back and explained to the nobles why their two siblings looked pale and slightly scared from her appearance.   “Wait, so you’re telling me that you died?” Lay suspiciously inquired.   “Yes.” Chaeyoung continued to fidget awkwardly with her fingers whilst sitting on the plush, leather sofa.   “And you’re also suggesting that our mother brought you back to life?” Luhan added.   Chaeyoung again nodded, “Not suggested. She did.” She affirmed.   The 4 nobles still stared at her in an unconvinced way. They knew their mother could do great things like heal the sick and tame even the wildest of beasts, but resurrecting someone? Impossible. Not even they could do such a thing.   “That’s impossible.” Xiumin muttered, running his fingers over his chin as he drifted into his t
