“Hey wake up!”   Sehun emitted an annoyed growl, pulling the covers over his head and turned to the other way to shun the male’s raspy voice.   Chanyeol sighed, “Hey!” He shook the King again, but more violently this time. “Wake up, Victoria is waiting for you outside.”   Sehun got up quickly and searched the room frantically with his dilated eyes. “What?”   Chanyeol casually pointed to the door, “It’s your day to spend with Victoria, remember? Last time, you had Sulli.” Chanyeol explained slowly as if Sehun were mentally challenged. Sehun buried his head within his palms but then he straightened up again, taking a glance to his left where his mate should be but there was nothing. His left side of the bed looked untouched and there was no warmth there to signal that someone had lain there last night.   Panic finally dawned him and he stared at Chanyeol, hysteric. “Where is she? Where’d she go?” He asked.   Chanyeol furrowed his brows in confusion, “Who?”   “Chaeyoung!” Sehun yelled, slipping out of bed and tightening the robe around his figure.   Chanyeol watched him in disbelief, “Sehun.” He muttered and shook his head, “Chaeyoung was never here. She hasn’t placed a foot in this palace since 3 years ago.”   Sehun stopped pacing the room with a worried expression. “She’s not dead!” Sehun insisted.   “Sehun, it’s true.” A new voice joined the conversation. It was Baekhyun. He had just entered the room, his face crest-fallen. “Chaeyoung is dead and has been dead for a while.”   Sehun gulped. His throat was dry and painful. He rigidly shook his head, “No.” He whispered under his laboured breathing. “She’s alive. She was with me last night. I can still smell her scent in here.”   Chanyeol and Baekhyun exchanged wary looks. They both assumed Sehun had been thinking of his mate too much these days. He needed to move and find someone else, even if the woman was not his destined mate.   “Sehun.” Baekhyun calmly said, “Please just get dressed for Lady Victoria; she is patiently waiting for you outside.”   Sehun wanted to protest and reject Baekhyun but a glint of doubt flickered in him.
