“It’s either we both leave or I’ll deal with you personally.” Sehun warned.   “The latter sounds more appealing.” Sungmin replied and in the next second, his eyes narrowed into concentration. Sehun gasped aloud, and held his throat, watching Sungmin through his blurred vision. He began to cough violently and Chaeyoung clutched onto Sehun’s side with concern streaming through her features. “Stop it Sungmin! Stop!” She demanded.   Sungmin only applied pressure to Sehun’s throat as his eyes narrowed.    Sehun wheezed and slid down against the wall holding his throat. His face was choking with red, and he desperately tried to inhale but every time he breathed in, the pressure increased. He could feel his head spinning, and his eyes blurring over. He could only see the blurry version of Chaeyoung as she leaned down and cupped his cheeks, begging for Sungmin to stop as she brushed her fingers against his skin.   Despite the situation, electricity sparked between the two. Sehun closed his eyes and he heard the loud cry of Chaeyoung before he fully surrendered in to the darkness.   Chaeyoung pursued her lips, and kicked herself up from her crouching position. She sparked balls of pure phoenix flames in her hand and stretched it at her sides. Her eyes burned brightly but with deadly battle.   “You release him now!” She ordered.   “I’m doing this for you Chaeyoung. You belong here not there.” His murky eyes connected with hers and in an instant, Chaeyoung felt the invisible force of something grasping at her air pipes, depleting her oxygen.   “S-Stop it.” She wheezed, wincing as the pressure on her neck intensified.   “Listen Chaeyoung. You are a phoenix, one of the last female ones. Your rightful place is here, with your family. I’ll release him if you willingly remain here. You are far too valued to be mingling with his kind and mother will be heart-broken if you dare to live at your own accord with this putrid man.”   Something in Chaeyoung’s chest ached, like anger but sympathy. Her own brother, her own blood was speaking words of despise against Sehun but also indirectly stating his hatred of her two daughters.   Chaeyoung ignited the flames in her palm once more and aimed one straight to Sungmin’s heart. Sungmin’s eyes shot wide open and his lips formed a wide circle from the horror and surprise from Chaeyoung’s attack.   Sungmin smashed against the window, falling outside. Great. Now she alarmed everyone else in the mansion. Chaeyoung darted to Sehun’s side, hoisting him up as he emitted a painful groan. He tried to speak, but Chaeyoung cut him off with a soft hush. She wrapped her arm around his waist and Sehun willingly dangled his arm around her neck, leaning against her. He still felt a little nauseous, and he struggled to keep his gaze focused which affected his ability to walk properly. He had to rest against Chaeyoung’s smaller frame to even take a step. He silently cursed himself for being so useless. If he could talk, he would’ve yelled for Chaeyoung to return home and leave him behind, that he would somehow escape her family’s wrath and join with her again, with their two children at their sides.    Even as he attempted to pull away from Chaeyoung’s grip, she only tightened her slender fingers on his waist, forcing him with her. *I don’t know what I’d do without her.* He mused, forcing his lazy legs to move.
