“Come on.” Taemin chided, yanking the ropes roughly towards him.   Kris stumbled forward, throwing Taemin an irritated look. “Sheesh, calm down doggy.”   Taemin chose to ignore him, pulling Kris further down the palace manors.   Everything was exactly the same from his former visit. The magnificence of the place was still intact but the aura it now emitted was quite….troubling. He could feel that something in the kingdom was not in its best condition since the time when Sehun’s father had reigned over the land.   Like the other enormous doors in the fortress, Kris was stopped in front of a pair of daunting double doors. He literally could smell the king’s scent spilling from inside the room. Taemin unbound Kris’s hands from the ropes he had managed to contain him in. Once they were slithered off, Kris massaged his raw wrists. “I see you’ve must’ve been a boy scout.” Kris said.   Taemin shot him a glare. “Behave once we’re in there. If you dare step out of line, I’ll kill you right there.”   “I doubt it.” Kris smirked, miffing Taemin off.   The guards unbolted the doors and Taemin shoved Kris forward. Kris didn’t say a word, his eyes landing on a familiar male sitting on the throne, looking grim and empowered- as usual. Kris could see that Sehun had been surprised to see him because he had shot up from his throne and narrowed his eyes on Kris.   “How ya doing Sehun?” Kris greeted with a smirk, “Long time no see.” He added.   Sehun just blinked at him. He knew that Sehun was not going to speak a single word.    “…….You mind talking? It’s getting kind of awkward now.” Kris cleared his throat, making Taemin smack the back of the tall guy’s head. Kris cupped his head, staring bewildered at Taemin. “You really just had to hit me, didn’t you.”   Taemin smirked and shrugged his shoulders.   Sehun stepped down some elegant turquoise steps the led straight to Kris. The guards and Taemin began to bow at his descent but Kris barely moved his hips to form a bow. As Sehun stood in front of Kris, a few centimetres shorter, he lifted his hand and struck a blow to Kris’s nose.   Sehun ploughed his face a couple more times until Kris flopped onto his knees, holding his bloody nose and glaring at the king under his fringe. “What was that for?” Kris calmly asked, scrambling back onto his feet like a drunkard. He uncurled his pose but Sehun punched him again, twice as hard as the last. Sehun had wanted to hit Kris again, but mid-way he was stopped- by Taemin. “As much as I really want him dead, we cannot do that now. He has some explaining to do.”   Sehun pursed his lips but then got rid of his fist. “Whatever.”   Kris’s smirk shortly returned as he straightened his collar. “You really should learn how to control yourself.”   Taemin clucked his tongue, “Men, settle down.”    Sehun was the first to relax in the tense atmosphere. “Where’s the other devil?” Sehun questioned.   “Devil?” Kris looked sincerely confused.    “
