Chapter 23

Tiffany started to cry, “Yoochun Oppa, please don’t do that? We can talk. What do you want from me? I will do anything as long as you let him go.”

“Tiffany, don’t beg him!” Jaejoong said in anger, half shouting. He turned his head to see his wife in fury, “I don’t want his mercy, do you understand, Fany?”

Tiffany cried.

“Oh, yeah? How about you divorce him & take me as your new husband, Tiffany?” Yoochun asked impatiently.

When Tiffany shook her head in tears, Yoochun continued, “You don’t want to leave him, do you?” His eyes never left Jaejoong’s while he was pointing the gun at him.

Jaejoong continued to step forward, challenging his enemy with his life. He knew he was being irrational & short tempered but he couldn’t help it. Now, the game was almost over. He had to finish it. He didn’t know what he had been hoping for but maybe he had wanted to finish this game. One of them had to be out of the game forever. His head came up & he looked at his enemy straight in the eye. He didn’t care about Tiffany’s pleading words to stop. He rubbed his hand over his eyes. Maybe it was the end. He might lose his life, however, Tiffany & the kids were more important than his.

“Okay. Don’t blame me for what I will do today. You ask for this, Kim. I will be glad to help you to go to hell.” Yoochun said calmly, holding the gun, ready to shoot.

The sound of the gun being ready to fire out the bullets made Tiffany’s heart stopped beating. Her jaw dropped so far down her chin almost hit her knees.

Jaejoong didn’t seem to notice, “Tiffany, I’m sorry for not keeping my promise. I can’t be with you until the end of days. Please take care of our kids? Please tell them I really had fun & love them so much in this short meeting? I never regretted this precious moment with my son’s even though I wish I have known them earlier.” He paused, choking on his breath. His eyes were wet with tears, “I love you & them, too.” He kept muttering without blinking, staring at his wife sadly. His heart was broken. Then he quickly turned his head. He couldn’t look at his wife’s face any longer. He was afraid he would lose his wits when he saw her cryin. Tiffany dried her eyes a bit,

“Jae Oppa, come back please? If you love us, please don’t leave us again? Don’t scare me, Oppa. Please come back?”

Jaejoong waved his trembling hand.

“Well, well, I applaud you, Kim.” Yoochun grinned. He moved towards Jaejoong, ready to shoot the bullet into his enemy’s head, “Welcome to hell, Kim Jaejoong.”

Tiffany screamed in tears while hugging Minki tightly. She put her son’s face in her embrace, avoiding him from seeing what was going to happen in front of their eyes. She closed her eyes tightly while screaming loudly, “Drop it, Oppa or I will blow your head off.” A sudden cold voice with the sound of gun ready to fire filled the intense atmosphere.

Yoochun took his breath carefully & tried to turn his head to see who was behind him, although, he knew very well whom she was.

“Sunny.” Jaejoong whispered, taking in a deep breath.

“Drop the gun, Oppa.”

Yoochun took a step back, facing Sunny in the eye, “What are you doing?”

“Drop the gun or I will shoot you.”

“Why are you helping him?! He’s our enemy, Sunny!” Yoochun said accusingly, as if she had destroyed his perfect plan.

“Not anymore unfortunately.” Sunny said calmly.

“You...You.” Yoochun said in disbelief. His eyes looked at her intensely, “Stop this, Sunny.”

“Didn’t you hear me, Park Yoochun? Drop the gun or I won’t mind making this bullet blow your head off.” Yoochun looked at her suspiciously, wondering if perhaps she was only playing around. However, Sunny’s cold dark brown, almond-shaped eyes showed her seriousness. Sighing in defeat, he dropped the gun & lifted his hands up.
