Chapter 18

The sparkling, luminous, multi-colored fireworks lit up the night sky, astonishing all the guests in glorious rays of light. They were all sharing joy & happiness on Christmas day together with Jaejoong & Tiffany’s blissful wedding day.

The food was delicious & was displayed in a breathtaking way. While the adults enjoyed their dinner & chatted with all the other guests, the kids were sitting on the grass at the backyard.

The magic show had just begun. There were two magicians wearing clown clothes. One was the big guy while the other one was a skinny guy. As the big tall magician started blustering his stuffs, everybody was waiting in eagerness, especially the twins. Minki shrieked & laughed almost the time as he really enjoyed the show with Minho & the other kids. Their screams & laughter attracted their parents to join the show.

The little boy’s & girl’s screamed in delight as the magician produced white doves & multi-colored balloons of empty hand. When the skinny clown bullied his big friend in a hilarious way, the kids were so delighted as they started jumping up & down, clapping their hands.

“Now, for my last show, I had like to ask one of the brave young boy as my assistant!” The skinny clown magician shouted. His eyes scanned the little boy’s carefully.

Minki & Minho started waving their hands & shouting, “Pick me! Pick me!” Along with the other kids. The atmosphere was filled with screams & laughter.

The magician glanced at one of the guest secretly & the mystery guest nodded to give his approval without anyone noticing. The magician smiled devilishly behind his clown mask. He looked at the mischief little boy, Minki, who screamed loudly, “Little boy with blue shirt.” He pointed his index finger to the screaming Minki at the second row, “I like to have the honor of having you to assist my next show.”

Minki shrieked in delight as Minho groaned in frustration, being a loser. Minki stood up bravely with a big grin on his face. He looked at his father, asking for his approval but Jaejoong curved his eyebrows, trying to give him a signal of his disapproval, “Daddy.” He said, with a multiple syllables, showing his protests. Minki pouted his face & then turned around to see his grandfather.

Mr. Kim smiled & shouted, lifting his hand up, “Go!”

However, Minki didn’t dare move & glanced once again, at his father. Jaejoong sighed in defeat & shook his head. He finally smiled to admit his son’s boldness & stubbornness. Minki smiled back proudly as Jaejoong gave him a thumbs up for his braveness. At his father’s approval, Minki gladly went towards the magician, “I’m coming.”

“Ladies & gentlemen. Boys & girls, look at this brave little boy. What’s your name? You can introduce yourself to the audiences.” The magician said, putting his arm around Minki’s shoulder. In fact, he just wanted to make sure that he picked the right person.

“My name is Aaron Kim Minki! I’m just turning three years old! I live here with my parents, grandparents & twin brother, Marvin Kim Minho!” Minki answered loudly. He pointed to his brother under the stage with his eyes.

“So, you are one of the twin’s of the famous couple, Kim Jaejoong & Tiffany Kim, is that right?”

Minki nodded proudly in reply.

“Cool. Are you scared to be inside the wooden box? Because I would make you disappear in one clap.”

Minki shook his head firmly & replied, “I’m not afraid. Daddy said I’m a big boy & I’m curious how you will make me disappeared.”
