The young man sat on her right— still holding her hand without breaking his gaze at the river.

Seohyun, startled, just stared at him weirdly. She immediately pulled her hand from him and started to move away, not bothering on the lightly wet concrete steps.

The guy turned to her,

“Hi!”

He changed his smirk and had a smile plastered on his face, expecting an enthusiastic response.

But Seohyun only paused to look at him. Then, she turned away and stood up.

“Do you want to die together?” this time, he asked her loudly while leisurely leaning back on the steps.

Seohyun stopped shuffling on her things and looked down on him. She saw his smirk again, like he was feeling successful on getting back her attention.

“A while ago, you look like you want to drown yourself in this river.”

She remained unresponsive but Seohyun couldn’t help but be shocked at his outrageous assumption. ‘Why would I kill myself?’ She wanted to shout back at this stranger, but she knew that she wouldn’t. Why? Because she doesn’t talk to strangers, not to mention, unknown guys.

Cold wind blew which sent chills on her light clothing. She wrapped her cardigan tightly around her upper body, thanking God she decided to wear pants that day.

“Want to talk about it?” the guy was already sitting upright with elbows propped on his knees. He was looking straight at her, not even bothered by the drizzle.

‘What’s up with this guy?’ Seohyun creased her brows. ‘What made him think I will talk about my problems with strangers?’

She picked up her ‘lesson plan’ notebook and moved away, going back to where she parked her car.

“Wai—”

She was thankful the man didn’t bother to stand, but she heard his loud sigh. Seohyun stopped for a while, wondering if the guy was really just wanting to have someone he could talk to.

She took a few steps back and checked on the guy. He remained on his sitting position but this time, his head hanging low. Her inner self was battling if she should go or not. But she doesn’t want to be too nosy, even though, the other guy was one. So, she could only sigh.

Slowly, she took off her cardigan. Seohyun went back to the guy. Upon noticing her shoes, standing near him, he looked up.

Seohyun covered his head with the cardigan. She saw his eyes enlarged from the unexpected action,

“Normally, I don’t talk to strangers,” she glanced and she noticed he had his mouth hang half- open.

“… but don’t kill yourself!” With that, she bowed and ran away to hide her embarrassment.

Unconsciously, he found himself standing up, only to watch her scurrying away. He clutched on her cardigan and without her knowing, the guy couldn’t help but smile all by himself from what had just happened.

“Yaaah! Jeon Jungkook!” the said man the direction of the voice calling for him. With a big smile on his face, he leisurely walked to meet up with his frantic friend. He covered himself with the cardigan and, unavoidably, inhaled the sweet scent from it.

The moment Seohyun started her car away from the park, the drizzle turned into a downpour. She tried to drive slowly passing along the park, to check once again if the man still stayed but when she passed by, it was already an empty spot. So, she simply shrugged it off, thinking that he had a car of his own. She immediately made a left turn, making her way back home.

She was in no hurry to arrive back in her home. She felt a bit dreadful because the thought of having to go back, means coming back of her troubling thoughts.

‘sigh’ as she gripped on the steering wheel. Seohyun just wanted to end her weekend as peacefully as possible. Soon, she was driving on an empty street leading to her own home. As she got nearer to her house gate, she saw a figure standing under the lamppost with
