Epilogue

It was one of those peaceful days of July that Yeori appreciated a lot. July was the month of her birthday but also the month of her wedding, in other words July was the month of her most beautiful memories. So as she had one week of holidays she took the chance to spend some times with her beautiful kids; she brought them to yard for kid and looked at them from afar. Today they were already five years old and Yeori still couldn’t believe it. Time flies, especially when you were happy and it was definitely Yeori’s case. She got married four years ago and since this day Jongdae made her even happier. Falling in love with him was the best thing that happened in her life after of course her children.

As they were playing not far from her, she couldn’t help but smile, they were so lively and sometimes she wondered how they could have so much energy. It was only after a moment that Yeori noticed that they were playing with a little girl who was probably a little younger than them. She frowned a little as her face looked familiar but she couldn’t point out where she had seen it before.

“Oh look, it’s again Miyoung.” Some kids said and approached the three kids. Almost immediately Miyoung lowered her head and clenched her fist as if she was ready to hear some insults again.

“Still so ugly Miyoung.” One of the kid mocked and pushed her without hesitation but fortunately for Miyoung, MinJun was faster and prevented her from falling on the ground. “Oh, looks like she found someone to protect her.”

MinJun glanced at his sister who looked like she was about to snap something really mean, he knew that it was better to let her speak as she was the best when it came to arguing with people, even their parents.

“You’re just jealous because you’re the ugly one here and that nobody love you.” MinJi snapped and smirked.

From afar Yeori assisted to the scene with a smile. Hearing her daughter and seeing her smirk reminded her Baekhyun and for once she was proud that they inherit some of his traits.

“What?” The kid asked unsure that he heard it right. “You’d better back off or I’m going to push you too!”

“Try me!”

“And what a tiny little kid like you can do?”

“Oh you don’t know but my sister likes fighting.” MinJun replied and took Miyoung’s hand and gave her a gentle squeeze as if he was trying to tell her that she was safe with them.

Both MinJi and MinJun noticed that Miyoung were like them and they felt really comfortable around her, that’s why they wanted to protect her from older kids who wanted to bully her just because she looked frail.

“I’d love to see that.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll make you look even uglier.”

“This girl is right. Just because you’re ugly you don’t need to bully my little baby.” A voice rang from behind making all of them turn around and face a handsome man. Immediately Miyoung ran by his side and hugged his legs tightly.

“Daddy!”

“Are they annoying you kids?”

“Not a big deal! I can beat them!” MinJi said and raised her small fist as if she had enough strength to deal with them. MinJun approached his sister and smacked her head playfully. “Aouch! It hurts!”

“You’re not that strong you know?” He reminded her but all he got as reply was an angry MinJi who grabbed his ear and pulled it harshly making him whine. “Let me go!”

“Say you’re sorry!”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

The man couldn’t help but laugh at their cute behavior but somehow they reminded him someone he knew very well. He stared at them before realizing that it was probably them. His heart started beating fast, it was definitely so unexpected and he wanted to make sure that it was them.

“Where is your mommy kids?” He suddenly asked and crouched at their level.

“Behind you.” A familiar voice replied to him from behind. He turned around only to face the person he used to love so much.

“Long time no see Baek. Told you, it was just a see you later.”
