The Third Chapter: Planning.

So, now we get to the present days. And how these three couples had developed over these years. Like Andy had said, like isn’t love. He liked Hyesung enough to be together with him, but didn’t love him to go further than just dating. Minwoo and Junjin were pretty much the same. They just were overly cute and touchy all the time. The problem between Eric and Dongwan was that they fought…a lot, but everyone considered them as the most perfect couple in Shinhwa.

It was two weeks to January 21. Everyone was thrilled to have that annual meeting to plan the maknae’s birthday party and all the couples sat in one room, keeping loud voice. Eric had been gloomy a while, glancing at Dongwan, who kept pouting, his arms folded onto his chest. Minwoo looked at his best friend and then Eric.

“What’s wrong?” He asked.

“We had a fight.” The leader replied.

“Again?” Hyesung snapped slightly, holding Andy’s hand. “What was it about this time?”

Eric glimpsed at the witty guy who pursed his lips even more and snorted, looking away to hear the same thing over and over again. The oldest man sighed and said, “I got this contract from a Japanese firm and they asked me to meet them on January 21. I said I will take Wannie with me as he was the interpreter but they told me there was a company manager who loves Hyesungie and wanted to meet him, so…” he looked at the main vocalist. “…I promised I’d take you with me.”

Hyesung gasped. “But…on Andy’s birthday!?” he spoke. “I cannot leave my boyfriend. Not at all! I want to go, but…I like Andy more than that.”

Junjin frowned and leered at the maknae. Eric did the same thing. Minwoo was calming Dongwan down, slightly hugging him.

“No, no,” Andy laughed. “Go, go. I can party alone with Junjin, Minwoo and Dongwan.” He explained. “It’s not that important anyway. I’ve had birthdays before.”

“Actually, that is the part Dongwan got angry at.” Eric rubbed his neck. “I…promised I’d go on a double date with him and MinJin couple…but now I cannot go…so…I said they could just go watch a movie.” He told.

Andy bowed his head and unlaced his hand from Hyesung’s. “Oh.” He whispered. “If you want to go hyung, go.” He then flashed a smile. “I know you love Japan.”

Hyesung leaned in and pecked the maknae softly. “Thank you. I will give you the greatest present. I promise.” He grinned.

“Good. You’d never get into my apartment if you didn’t give me anything.” Andy mumbled chuckling.
