Chapter 6
Our EndingI carefully observed him. BamBam looked really fragile... and feminine.. I burst out laughing as soon as I realized he was more feminine looking than I was. Everyone stopped touching their plate and looked at me. I quickly covered my eyes and cleared my throat.
"So, how was your day..?" asked Jackson.
"It was-" "It was-" Mark and I replied at the same time. We both stole a glance at each other and quickly looked away. I gently picked up my fork and played with the food on my plate; moving it back and forth.
"Okay.." Jackson replied, staring at the both of us. I slightly looked up to see Jackson with an awkward and upset expression. He looked back down on his plate, holding back his feelings. But his eyes soon reddened and his eyes were starting to fill with tears.
"Ja-" I was unable to say his name as for he stood up and left the table.
The kids were eatting their foods messily, getting it all over theirselves. As soon as Mark realized that, he became a little more strict and slightly yelled at his children.
BamBam excused himself and got up, chasing after Jackson. I stood up, about to chase Jackson as well but then the little girl asked, "Where are you going?"
Mark stopped wiping her and slowly turned his head towards me. His head slowly lifted up, our eyes meeting. I slowly looked away from Mark to his child. 'She looked just like her mother yet her personality like Mark.. How could that be that she couldn't look like me or like someone else..? Why her mother?' I asked myself. Soon, tears were streaming down my face.
Mark slowly stood up, looking concerned. As soon as he realized what I was looking at, he stared at his own daughter and then back at me.
"Answer me please," she asked politely. The tears on my face only fell faster. I fakely smiled and opened my mouth as if to say something, but only burst into tears. I fell onto my knees and covered my face.
Why?.. Why did this have to happen to me?
