“There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real…”

This was the first time Park Shin Hye felt relaxed coming to China since she joined Starhaus. Beijing airport wasn’t crowded and there was no fans screaming and running around today. She can walk freely without worrying someone will push her. But it would be different in Shanghai today. The Shanghai airport will be flooded with Lee Min Ho’s fans. She cracked a soft smile when his handsome face appeared on her mind. It was only less than 12 hours after they met last night but she missed him already.

They landed safely in Beijing 30 minutes ago and were heading towards the airport exit to wait for their car. Shin Hye was startled and embarrassed when she realized Song Won Seuk was looking at her who was smiling to herself. He flashed her a warm smile before continued to walk beside his manager. Although Shin Hye was okay to work with Manager Choi and Song Won Seuk but this trip was rather awkward because she was the only girl between 3 of them.

Shin Hye was in her hotel room, preparing to be out for the shooting later when she heard her phone rang. She quickly took it from her bag and when she saw the caller was Min Ho, she smiled sweetly.

Shin Hye: Oppa…

Min Ho: Hmmm… it feel so good to hear you calling me oppa. Have you check-in to the hotel?

Shin Hye: Yes. I’m already in my room now, getting reading to go out soon. How about you?

Min Ho: I’m already at the event’s venue. I’m in the dressing room now. There was so crowded and it’s lucky they have extra guards to block the fans from pushing in. I’m not safe you know, and you are not here to guard your boyfriend from those fan girls outside. I miss you so much.

Shin Hye giggles as she looked at the bracelet on her wrist.

Shin Hye: I miss you too, oppa.

Then she heard someone press on her doorbell. It must be Manager Choi. She looked at her watch and it’s time for her to go.

Shin Hye: I have to go now. I’ll call you when I’m back later. Your flight to Xiamen is 8pm tonight right. I’ll try to call you before you board.

Min Ho: Okay. Take care of yourself and wear something warm. I heard from the staff that Beijing is very cold today.

Shin Hye: Okay. You too. Bye.

She quickly put the phone in her bag and rushed to the door.

Shin Hye and Manager Choi were talking to the Chinese director about the filming later while Song Won Seuk was changing. They were already in the filming set and the shooting will be featuring Song Won Seuk and another model driving the new Toyota. The crews were still doing the final touch up on the fake road and building in the filming warehouse.

Song Won Seuk walked out from the dressing room, all ready for the filming. He was wearing a black leather jacket with black pants. Because he was still new and not popular yet, the agency didn’t arrange any personal stylist coordinator for him. Everything was one-leg-kick by his manager and him. Shin Hye saw his jacket collar was bended inward and she quickly walked to him. He was very tall, about Min Ho’s height. She has to tiptoe to reach his neck and adjust the collar for him. She was taken aback when she realized her face was so close to his. She was too used to doing that when she was with Min Ho during his shooting. She didn’t realize it was not him this time.

“I-I’m sorry. Your collar was bended inside and I thought of helping you to adjust it.” Shin Hye said as she pointed at his collar, feeling awkward.

“Thank you.” Song Won Seuk let out a soft laugh when he saw Shin Hye’s face was blushing.

The filming was taking longer than expected. The director was shouting to all the crews and Song Won Seuk. He wasn’t satisfied with his performance and kept yelling at him. The distressed looked on his face make Shin Hye feel uneasy. This was the first time she saw something like this. When she was working with Min Ho, all the crew members treated him like a king. Every photo shooting and CF filming was done very smoothly.

This is the harsh reality that every artist couldn’t escape. It’s not easy to climb to where Min Ho was standing now. You need to be attractive in and out, talented, chances and luck. Shin Hye felt thankful that Min Ho already passed through all this hardship.

She walked to Song Won Seuk with a bottle of water when she heard the director shouted cut. He gave her a pale helpless smile when he saw Shin Hye standing in front of him. She passed him the bottle and asked, “Are you okay?”

“Not really.” He shook his head defeatedly. He let out a deep sigh as he leaned his back on the wall.

“Here. I think you need some of this to recharge your energy. I know nothing about acting or modelling. So, this is the only way I could help.” Shin Hye flashed him a cheerful smile and her hand was holding a pack of chocolates. “Chocolate usually makes people happy because they have caffeine stimulants known as theobromine which make you feel relaxed.”

Song Won Seuk laughed softly and took a piece of chocolate from her. “Do you know it means expressing your love when you give chocolate to a man on Valentine’s Day? And the last time I checked, today is 14th of February. I think I need to do something in return on the White Day, right?” he put the chocolate in his mouth and looked deep into Shin Hye’s eyes.

She narrowed her eyes at him and said, “Hmmm… you are right. Then I’m in trouble because I gave one to Manager Choi too.” Shin Hye laughed playfully. “Since you still can crack a joke, I guess you are feeling better now. I’m sure you can do better. Be confident to yourself and do your best. Fighting!” She cheered him up before walking away.

Song Won Seuk watched her back as she walked away, smiling. The way she smiles and laugh was like a sunshine that brightens his bad day.

Shin Hye threw herself on the bed once she reached her hotel room. She looked at her phone and there were 3 missed calls and a message from Min Ho.

7.50pm: “Yah! You didn’t call me as you promised and you didn’t even answer your phone. Are they torturing you or what? Have you eaten your dinner yet? I’m boarding soon. The flight will take about 1 hour 30 minutes to Xiamen. I’ll call you once I checked-in to the hotel. Make sure you answer your call. I miss you.”

Shin Hye looked at her watch and it’s already 9pm. So he will land around 9.30. She let out a long sigh as she looked at her phone again. I miss you too.

9pm: “I’m very sorry. I just got back to the hotel. The shooting was taken longer than expected. I’ll grab something to eat later. Stop worrying about me and take more rest yourself. You must be exhausted. I checked your weibo just now. You looked very handsome with that FILA sweater. How I wish I could be there with you. I miss you too.”    

She put her phone on the bedside table and closed her eyes to rest. She was startled when someone pressed on the doorbell. She stood up lazily and made her way to the door. It was Song Won Seuk standing outside when she opened the door.

“There is a nice lounge at the hotel lobby. Let’s go get something to eat.” He said, with a warm smile.

“Oh. I think I’ll just stay in the room. I’m not very hungry and I’m kind of tired. You guys go ahead.” Shin Hye replied.

“No. You must come. You helped us so much today and the only thing we can pay you back is to feed you. I know you are tired. We will just grab something fast and you can come back to sleep after that. Okay?”
