Bullies always have a reason for what they do. It doesn't excuse what they do, but it does explain much about them.

Sometimes, when the cause of the bully behaviour is removed, the bully can be a good person inside.

JR is a bully, but not for much longer.

Foreword

So this is a story I had planned as a companion to Torment, but I lost interest in writing Torment sometime back near the beginning of the school year. So I decided to reboot it, but using JR's perspective. I felt I had more ideas for JR and it's easier to start over than it is to try and pick up back where I left off in the fall.

My best friend will be continuing with her perspective of the story though, so never fear, Zelo is not forgotten, not by a long shot.
