Days passed after their little interactions on twitter. After that night their fans couldn’t wait for more interaction. ‘Dara for Donghae’  or vice versa. Shippers of their love team increased but unfortunately haters increased as well.

Also after that Dara made sure that Bom would not be able to repeat what she did that night. She made sure that she’s always logged out after using her SNS. And as much as possible she would not lend her phone to Bom just to be sure.

 

Their schedule for the past week was tightly packed and they were so busy. Luckily YG told them that they could rest for days starting tomorrow.

“Aigoo, I can’t wait for tomorrow. I sleep all day and eat corn!” Bom excited told the girls.

“Me too.  And I’ll play with my Dougie.” Minzy said

“We all deserve this upcoming day off so we need to do our best today and tomorrow we’ll enjoy.” CL cheered and smiled

“Hwaiting girlss~” Dara cheered

“Dara, your phone was ringing non-stop a while ago.” Bom informed Dara.

“What? I didn’t do anything.”Bom felt that Dara’s doubting her but she let it slide

“Thanks for informing—well, who could it be? The number’s not registered.” Dara muttured

“Why don’t you try calling it again? It seems important.” CL suggested.

 

Dara stood up and walked a few meters away from the girls. She dialed the number and waited for someone to answer.

 

“Hello, Sandara?” A familiar voice answered

“Aigoo, it was Ah-young-ah all along.” Dara answered

“Ah, mianhe for not telling you. I was trying to reach you but you’re not picking up.” Ah-young said

“Mianhe for that, I left my phone on the table. We’re having a photo shoot today.” Dara  explained

“Omo, am I disturbing you? I can call again later you know.”

“Aniya~ anyway why did you call me? It’s been a while and how did you get my number?” Dara asked

“Ah, I called because we’ll be having a dinner party as the same time reunion. You know, old friends getting together~ high school reunion kind of thing but nothing big. It’s just the gang. We really miss you Sandy. I know you’re busy with your schedule knowing that you’ve just made your comeback but we hope that you’ll make it.” Ah-young pleaded.

“When and where?” Dara asked shortly

“Tomorrrow at ahjumma’s. You know~ the usuals”

“Tomorrow? Already?”

“Hehe. Yeah. I’m doing my last minute call and making sure that everybody will come. And I’m sure they will be there since I told them that you’ll be going. ”

“Eh? but I haven’t decided yet.”

“Better say yes or else they’ll be really sad. We miss you so much you know.”

“Aish, but that means I have to see Donghae. You know that we’re not in good terms.”

“So that’s what you’re worrying. Don’t worry he won’t come. Don’t you know that he’s in China right now?”

“Oh is that so? Okay then, I guess I could make an appearance.”

“Well that means a yes! Aigoo, I’m so excited. Wear blue ~”

“Eh? There’s a dress code?”

“Yep, just like before.”

“Ara-ara. See you then.”

“Okay, I’ll hang up now. Aigoo, I can’t believe I just had a conversation with Dara of 2NE1. Kekeke. Can you get me G-dragon’s and TOP’S autograph?” Ah-young jokingly asked

“Aish, this girl! Hahaha. I’ll try.”

“Aigoo. I’ll be expecting that!” Ah young hanged up

 

Dara returned to her seat. ‘Aish, now I need to find blue attire. Tsk. Ah-young didn’t change even a bit. She’s still weird. Hahaha’ Dara laughed inwardly.

“What is it Dara? Is there something wrong?” Bom asked curiously

“Aniya, I just remembered something.”

“Oh, so who’s your caller?”

“Ah, my high school friend. She asked me if I can go to a dinner party.”

“Dinner party? Ohh. Did you say yes?”

“It’s more of a small reunion. And I told her that I could make an appearance.”

“Oh, that’s great! You should enjoy. When is it?”

“Tomorrow night. Is it okay if go? I promise it won’t take long.”

“Aigoo Dara, of course you can. It’s our break so enjoy. Right girls?”

“Yup, you need to enjoy and relax unnie.” Minzy said

“Stop worrying and have a good time, okay unnie?” CL smiled approvingly

“Thank you girls.” Dara hugged the girls

“No problem just don’t forget to tell us what happened after. Arasso~”

“Ara, tsk nothing special will happen. It’s just my old high school friends.” Dara tried convincing Bom

“Uh-uh, you need to tell us still.”

 

Little did Dara know Bom already knew the fact that Dara and Donghae belonged to the same circle of friends.

Knowing this information Bom can’t be help but  be excited for her friend.

[the few hours before the dinner party]

 

 

“Girls, I’ll be going now!” Dara was about to open the door but Bom blocked her.

“What is it Bommie?” Dara was surprised by Bom’s sudden appearance

“And what do you think you’re wearing?”

“I’m wearing jeans and blue top. I was ordered to wear blue and this attire is blue plus comfortable.” Dara proudly informed Bom

“Yeah, comfortable plus boring. GIRLS! MAYDAY! CODE RED! We can’t let Dara leave wearing this!”

Bom  called the other girls while pushing Dara inside her room.

“We’re here unnie.” Minzy arrived together with CL

“Omo, I thought you’re going to a dinner party. Why are you wearing such awful clothes unnie?” CL asked Dara as she tsked in disbelief

“That’s what I’m trying to tell her. She could have at least worn a dress.” Bom said

"B-but this is comfortable." Dara complained

“Yeah, a dress will do.” CL said while doing some clothes analysis at Dara

“But I don’t have a blue dress and I want to be simple.” Dara complained

“Ssh, Don’t worry about. I have something here.” CL shushed Dara

“You know Ssantoki stop worrying about these things because we’re like fairies, we do magic.” Bom removed Dara ponytail and combed her hair.

“Here unnie, wear this. I never wore this because it’s too small. I think it fits you just fine.”

 

“Aish, okay. Now out. I’ll change.”

“Aigoo, our Ssantoki is soooo shy~” Bom teased

 The three girls left the room and let Dara have her privacy.

After a while Dara came out of the room.

 

“OMO~ You look great Dara!” Bom exclaimed

“I couldn’t agree more unnie.” Minzy clapped her hands.

“Just perfect unnie but I think you should go. You’re already late.” CL lead Dara to the door.

“Aigoo, thank you girls.”

“No problem unnie but make sure that you’re safe. Call or text us if anything happen.” CL reminded

“Ara-ara. I should go now. I’m so late already.” Dara opened the door and left

 

Right after that Bom laughed loudly.

“Hahahahahaha!”

“What’s wrong unnie?” Minzy asked

“Aniya, I’m just excited for our Ssantoki. Donghae will be there and I’m thrilled.” Bom informed the girls.

“Eh? Chincha?” The two chorused

“Yep!” Bom happily confirmed

“How did you know unnie?” CL asked

“Well, I got connections.” Bom answered

'A very reliable and handsome connection.' Bom added but kept it to herself

‘Oww. Seems like they rented the whole place.’ Dara whispered to herself

She opened the door. It’s not that long since the last she’s been here. And it was the time she got drunk and Donghae appeared in the middle of nowhere.

She walked into the same area where she usually eats.  “OMO! Ah-young!”

“Aigoo! Sandara’s here!” Ah-young exclaimed

Her friends started introducing themselves as if they don’t know each other.

“Aigoo, what’s with the formality guys? It just me Sandara.”

“What are saying? You’re Sandara! The one and only famous Sandara Park and luckily our friend!” Ah-young hugged Dara

“Sandara, you’re very famous know. I can’t believe that you’ll be this pretty. Hahaha” One of her friends joked

“Aigoo, I can’t even believe it myself.Hahaha” Dara joked and then everybody laughed

“How are you now? Are you dating someone?” Ah-young asked curiously

“Oh right, Sandara did Donghae made improvements?”another friend of her asked

“Eh? What improvements? As far as I’m concern we’re not even friends!” Dara hated being paired up with Donghae. Way back in high school Donghae used to a lot.

 

“I’m deeply hurt!”

Dara turned her head and to her surprise it was Lee Donghae.

“Ah-young, You said he wouldn’t come?” Dara asked in low voice

“Ahihi. I’m just kidding.” Ah-young made a peace sign with her fingers and smiled at Dara

Dara hid her face from Donghae. ‘Aigoo, I’m dead.’

“I thought we’re getting closer.” Donghae walked towards them. Some of their friends greeted Donghae.

“Hae~ Look at you! So handsome!” Ah young exclaimed and gave Donghae a hug

“Oi! Look at Hae and Sandy! Aigoo, even matching colors!” one of their friends teased

“Ah-young told to wear blue.” Dara explained but they just laughed at her.

“Aigoo, what do hate Hae so much? He’s such a great guy.” Ah young asked with such a teasing tone

“That’s right, I ‘m such a great guy. Hahaha.” Donghae walked towards Dara

“Yah, what’s so great about you?” Dara asked Donghae

 

“Aigooo~ I can’t believe that nothing has changed. You two are still the same.” Ah young laughed

“Yeah, Dara’s still small.” Donghae teased

Donghae messed Dara’s her as he chuckled softly.

“Aish~” Dara  shoved Donghae’s hand off her head

“AIGOO~ Stop fussing around! Why don’t we eat first and then have fun later.” Ah young suggested

 

Dara, Donghae and all of their friends gather around and eat.

They talked in between and laughed just like the old times. They reminisced their old days and gave their own remarks.

 

It was such a long ago yet some things remained the same. Also, despite the time some things were left unsolved.

 

What happened a long time ago was kept secret. Only few people knew what happened.

But what made Dara hate Donghae?

Hate is a strong word but She doesn’t know a better world to describe it.
