Jimin sat at the dinner table waiting for Soojung to get back, she had been gone for twenty minutes does it really take that long to powder her nose? He was starting to get annoyed, bored and the longer he was left waiting the more he wanted to get the check and go home. Finally Soojung reemerged and was wearing a a smile on her face. Something he hadn't seen all night.

"yah, where have you been? I've been waiting for ages" Jimin sighed angrily 

Soojung rolled her eyes "so dramatic, i met someone~" she said carelessly

Jimin didn't react to her words, he just looked at his watch. Right now his favourite show had started and asking Taehyung to record it after he yelled at him in the car, was completely out of the question. A frown crossed Soojung's face as Jimin showed no care for what she had said. Soojung couldn't stand Jimin, in fact she was starting to hate him more then she already did 

"Hurry up and take me home, i can't stand to be near you anymore" She sighed grabbing her bag 

"It's about time" Jimin muttered back 

Soojung left first, Jimin sighed this meant he was going to have to pick up the cheque. Jimin walked up to the counter and pulled out his credit card. 

"thank you sir" the man said taking it from him and swiping it. Jimin cracked his knuckles as he waited for the payment to go through.

"Sorry, uh excuse me" and girl said walking in front of him. She squeezed in between the front counter and Jimin. 

"excuse me sir, uh i would like to know if the dinner under Kim was payed for or not"

Jimin was left looking at the back of her head, with soft curls all over her head and tints of dark brown mixed with light brown, that stopped just above the nape of her neck. Jimin saw a small tattoo on the back of her neck, that was hidden by the curly hair, he cocked his head to the side, this was something new.

"Yes, it was paid for completely. Also congratulations" He smiled looking at her left hand for the ring

She laughed awkwardly and shook her head "uh no.. it" she said playing with her ring finger, with no ring in sight

The waiter at the counter became stiff "i'm sorry.. i uh"

"Well thank you the food was amazing, bye" She turned around to Jimin and laughed a little seeing him for the second time today 

"Stop following me" she teased flicking his chest with little energy

Jimin was confused by the conversation that had just taken place in front of him, and he felt his heart contract as he spied tears forming in her eyes. Without thinking he pulled Hara close to him "don't cry yet" he whispered reaching for his credit card.

"Come with me" Jimin said quietly shielding Hara from the eyes that watched intensely.

Soojung stomped her foot in anger she wanted to go home. The wind was particularly cold tonight and her jacket was locked in Jimin's car. He had made her wait almost half an hour late to pick her up, he talked to her almost two minutes in the whole hour they were together and now he was taking ten years to get to his car to take her home when all he wanted to do was go home. 

When she finally saw Jimin said let out an annoyed sigh "Oi! What took you so long! I wanna go home!!"

Jimin rolled his eyes as he tugged a girl along with him "Look i'm busy right now can you get a taxi or something?" 

"What?"

"Good, bye now" Jimin said pulling the girl with him down the street away from Soojung 

"Are you serious? aRE YOU SERIOUS PARK JIMIN?!" Soojung yelled watching him walk away 

"Ugh i hate him!" She pulled out her phone and dialled a taxi "I HATE HIM!" She screamed

Jimin noticed Hara shiver and pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around her without a second thought. Hara took it and thanked him while pulling her arm through the sleeves, it was warm and smelled strongly of Jimin. 

"Jimin" 

He ignored her and kept walking, he just clutched her hand tighter, inlacing their fingers together. 

Jimin and Hara walked in silence, until they reached an all too familiar cafe. Jimin pulled Hara in and they sat at the very back. It really hadn't changed since Hara last worked there. Jimin ordered them both coffees, and then grabbed Hara's hands warming them up for her. The butterflies in Hara's stomach were back and the warm feeling inside her caused her to smile as she looked at Jimin.

"Hara are you okay? What happened?" Jimin asked putting her hands back on her lap 

Haar shook her head "i'm fine, i promise" 

Jimin frowned at her "if i believed that i wouldn't be so concerned, and you wouldn't almost be in tears"

"Jin proposed to me" Jimin froze as the coffees were put down in front of them 

"Oh" was all he could manage to get out "what, what happened?" he stuttered moving for his coffee

"I broke up with him"

Jimin fought everything in his body to not spit out his coffee all over her, what was happening here? 

"What?" he finally asked gulping down the hot liquid 

"I wanted to break up with him a while ago, our relationship wasn't work because..." she drifted off and left Jimin raising his eyebrow at her

"nevermind" she said taking the warm mug in her hands "it just wasn't working"

"It must have been hard to break off such a long relationship" Jimin said softly

"Breaking off a relationship is always hard isn't it?"

Hara's words pierced through Jimin, they never officially dated but when they ended it was difficult, it was so difficult for both of them. He didn't have the courage to look her in the eye, he still remembered how it happened, in Busan at the beach, the quiet night with nothing but the sound of crashing waves, a romantic scene turned sour by a unfair break up. 

Hara smile a little at Jimin "Where is my sassy Jimin?" she thought aloud patting her chin

Jimin looked up at her with a curious smirk "Your sassy Jimin?"

"yes mine" she said not missing a beat
