"Hara come down stairs! You'll be late to school" 

Her mother called her for the third time. Hara was officially starting her first day of school and ever though she was nevous she was running on pure adrenaline due to over excitement. Her first ever day at a normal school. Sure it was her second to last year of High School and that meant that she would only have two years to cram in all the high school experiences she could, but she was overwhlemed with a sense of finally breaking out of her home schooled life that she had been so accustomed too.   

For what felt like the millionth time she brushed down her uniform and straighten her tie. She spun around looking at herself in the full length mirror.

"HARA, HIMCHAN WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!" her mother screamed losing all her patience 

"I'll be down in a second" she called grabbing her bag from the chair by her desk.

She took one last look in the mirror 

"You can do this Hara! You can do this! You will make lots of friends and you will do well in school and you will have fun!" She said confidently to herself in the mirror

"fighting!" She said quietly clenching her fist 

With that she walked out of her room and down the stairs.

Her brother Himchan sat at the counter texting quietly and every so often taking a sip of coffee, Hara's mother was making toast and handing it to Himchan 

"can you disconnect from your phone for three seconds and listen to me?" Her mother asked flicking Himchan's forehead

"yaaaaah what?!" he demanded putting his phone down and rubbing the stop she had attacked

"Look after your sister at school, eat with her and check up on her until she's made friends got it?!" She asked

"yeah yeah whatever" he said picking up his phone again

Hara entered the room and walked over to the stool near Himchan 

"have you finished looking at yourself in the mirror?" Himchan asked not breaking eye contact with his phone

"i wasn't looking at myself!" Hara said quickly as her cheeks turned a slight pink 

"yeah alright then" he said with a laugh

"Hara remember you are at school to do well, not to muck around and do nothing! You want to get into a good university"

"yes mum"

"you want to study study study!"

"yes mum" Hara sighed no longer paying attention

"and most importantly you want to get all your work in on time and do it well!" 

"alright alright, i don't think we need to hear this for the fifteth time" Himchan said standing up from his seat

He pushed his phone into his pocket, and then tapped Hara's shoulder

"come on lets go before we're late" He said with a small smile

Hara rose from her seat and followed Himchan out into the garage. They both piled in the car and then Himchan drove away from the big mansion like house.

Hara sat quietly, and sighed to herself. She knew she was going to hear those words from her mother but she wanted to hear something along the lines of 

"have a good day" or "have fun" or even "i hope you make new friends" 

But of course her mothers main priority was and always would be her education. Himchan had escaped that fate at a young age as he started excelling in sports and because he loves sports it wasn't torture for him to be forced into a million different fields to find what he was really passionate about, where as with Hara she was forced into studying subjects she did not care about things she wasn't interested in and all because she was good at it. She wanted to become and astrophysicist, she was passionate about the stars and everything that wasn't about this planet, she signed up for a summer camp overseas in America, to learn more about outer space, and what it takes to become apart of the field. Her mother let her go, but only because she thought it was nice way for Hara to spend the summer instead of waiting around doing nothing but working (something her mother highly apposed Hara to do while she was still studying) She didn't take Hara seriously when she said she wanted to work for NASA in the future. Her mother wanted her to become doctor. To scared to confront her mother again she just agreed and studyed hard to become what her mother wanted her to be.

"hey, i'm talking to you!" Himchan said snapping his fingers in her face

"oh, sorry" she said shaking her head a little 

"Anyway i was saying, as long as your at this school with me, i have your back and you'll have mine ok?" 

"what does that mean?" she asked curiously 

"It means that if i need you, you'll help me, if you need me, i'll help you. Not ratting on anyone, we don't tell mum and dad anything they don't want to hear, we tell them, Yes i did all my homework in study period, Yes i did well on that test, I'm going to study in my room/library/with friends" 

"but that's lying" Hara said shaking her head

"Hara, all you've wanted all your life is to live a normal teenage life and now you've got it! I'm going to help you achieve everything you need to in the two years you're going to be at school, Of course i'm not going to be able to help you next year but you'll be smart enough on your own to get passed mum and dad" Himchan said knowlegably 

"Anyway, get in the back we're going to pick up Jin"

Whilst driving down the highway, Hara undid her seat back and climbed to the back and then sat in the middle strapping herself back in. The rest of the trip was quiet between the two but Himchan turned the radio up so it wouldn't as awkward.

Jin's house was far away from Hara's and Himchan's. Jin's parents are wealthy just like their parents, but due to a situation that Jin never talked about his parents moved overseas and bought Jin an apartment across town from where he use to live (which was next door to the Kim siblings)
Jin had been best friends with Himchan for years, and after he moved nothing changed, he was still over all the time and treated like family within the Kim house hold. 
They pulled up outside of Jin's apartment and beeped loudly. Jin's apartment window flung open and he stuck half his body out the window, reveling his shirtless chest 

"is it school time already?!" he yelled half asleep

"Hurry up, you can't afford to be late again! They'll throw you into detention!" Himchan yelled whilst rolling down his window

Jin laughed, then started searching the car, Hara wound down the window and stuck her head out

"Jin oppa! I can't be late for my first day!" She yelled 

A large smiled fell onto Jin's lip "You're not gonna be late" he said back 

He disappeared for a few seconds then emerged again, climbing out the window, his shirt half buttoned up and his tie loose around his neck. Himchan sighed as he watched his friend close the window and jumped down the fire escape to the car.

"sorry if i took too long" Jin said opening the car door 

"Did you lose your keys again?" Himchan asked looking at the window 

"yeah, i left them at that house party a few days ago" Jin laugh buttoning up his shirt properly 

"Jin oppa, where are your books?" Hara asked concerned 

"I don't need books" he said as Himchan started the car

"How will you learn anything?" Hara asked

"who goes to school to learn?" Jin replied laughing as the pulled away from the apartment complex.
