Vain: 7 Years"Jaebum, still got nothing?" Mark asked as he was in Jaebum's office the next morning. Although Jaebum ran Aju Group after his dad fully took over the police head quarters, Jaebum still searched for Jaehye for Mark and Jin's sake.
"Oh, nothing," he answers from his desk. Mark sighed in disappointment as he lay back in his seat. Jaebum looked to him from his paperwork, "Just give up Mark. It's been 7 years, and throughout these 7 years all the Jaehye's we've been to wasn't even the Jaehye we wanted. Even when we found Jeon Jaehye, it wasn't the Jeon Jaehye we expected," Jaebum sighed. "Let's just stop. Jaehye's gon-"
"No!" shouted Mark as he slammed the table, "Jaehye's not gone... I don't believe it..." He walked out of the office with a rough aura. Jaebum sigh and he rub the nose of his bridge as he took of his glass. He didn’t know how to stop Mark from looking for Jaehye. Jaebum came to think it wasn’t worth it anymore. He doesn’t know what other Jaehye is in town, but he pulled out his laptop and decided to do one last search for Mark.
Mark, on the other hand, hated when he hears that Jaehye is gone. She's not gone. He believes that she's still around in Seoul. Even though it's been 7 years, Jaehye is still around, thought Mark. She's still here.
He made his way to a usual place he had always gone to for the pass 7 years; Jungkook's grave. He poured a small drink of soju for Jungkook and himself. "This is probably my 20th time coming here this month..." Mark sighed. "Jungkook ah, do you know. It's almost Jaehye's birthday... Shouldn't we throw her a surprise birthday party?" he chuckled, "Because Jaehye will come, right?" Mark took the shot that he poured for himself before speaking any further. "Yesterday... I thought I saw Jaehye... I wasn't sure if it was really her since I couldn't make out the face clearly, but I felt like it was her. She came back, didn't she?" A cool breeze of wind blew across Mark. He smirked as he poured himself another drink, "I knew it. I knew she was still around,"

"Noona!" called Junhong as Jaehye picked him up from school as usual. "What are we going to do today?" he smiled, "Can we go to the aquarium? Or the zoo? Oh wait! I heard there's a cool arcade here somewhere! Can we go there instead?"
Jaehye let out a sigh with a small smile, "I'm sorry Junhong, but I'm going to be busy for the next few days because of work. How about I take you to work with me so you can entertain me when you see that I'm having a stressful time, hm? How does that sound?"
Junhong pouted from the thought of the boring offices and business talks he would be hearing. He didn't like it when he didn't have Jaehye's attention. "Sure, why not," he mumbled.
"Stop being such a kid. You’re not 12 and I’m not 19," she said as she playfully knock his head.
"Jaehye?" said Yongguk as he approached them with a few other guys. Jaehye noticed that they were the same guys Junhong had walked with the previous day. "I never though
